Friendly staff, reasonable prices, and fabulous food. The large, oily, succulent, delicious grilled mackerel I ate there with you yesterday sitting in the sun made me feel I was somewhere in the Mediterranean rather than on Kingsland Road, my husband raved about his fried haddock in its thin hardly there batter, the chips were great and the salad fresh and tasty too. Had a great experience at Sutton and Sons Stoke Newington where we ate in. The chef and waitress were both very friendly and helpful in suggesting ideas/dishes. We pre ordered the lobster for the lobster roll. We were satisfied with all the dishes and all of them were fresh - we couldn’t fault it. And very reasonable prices too considering it’s fresh seafood in London! They have their own fishmonger across the road which is quite cool. And we were especially happy to hear that beer batter is no longer used, so its good to see them offering their great menu to a larger range of customers and to those who might not be able to consume alcohol. My husband and I visited Sutton and Sons for a vegan fish and chips meal. The resturant isn't vegan as they serve fish, but they do have a separate vegan menu. We thought the staff were very welcoming, the resturant very clean and would recommend it's a good casual place to go with friends or family .

Not your average fish and chips! We had an excellent dinner here last night. The seafood platter was super fresh and they cater a broad section of tastes and dietary requirements. The vegan menu is extensive and delicious and the staff were hilarious and very welcoming. Had a wonderful time and will definitely be back soon.

This is the best place to get delicious fresh fish - a huge variety of the highest quality, big juicy portions of tuna steak, cod, haddock, monkfish, pollock along with lobster, crab, prawns, squid, mussels and oysters! Living in the area we have visited here weekly for years and the staff are always pleasant - a lovely family run business. If you don’t feel like cooking yourself, you can check out their fish and chip shop across the street of the same name! 100/100
