Fantastic and friendly staff!! Amazing food especially the Afghan rice
Great food - grill and karahi - and friendly staff. Waiter went out especially to get our daughter a kids drink as they didn't have one on the menu! Amazed that's it's as quiet as it is, maybe due to location? Definitely go there again.

If you know about West Hendon it's at the cusp of major redevelopment. It's no insult to say that a makeover is long overdue. Nevertheless, there are a few places there you would think are ahead of the game in terms of how you perceive the area to look like once it's been 'spruced up'. I would contend that Royal Lahore might fit that bill. When entering the restaurant you get the feeling that it might be one of those local culinary unearthed gems. The ambiance is pleasing as is the service and manners of the staff. Anyone who has had the privilege of eating authentic Afghan food will know that they do not scrimp when it comes to portions. One portion of Kabuli Lamb and a starter of chicken wings was enough for two grown men. The Afghan tea was a refreshing end to a lovely meal which was pitched at the right price. As I stated earlier, two grown men were able to eat for under £20. If you're in the area this is one of the food spots I recommend you give a try.
Love the the food here. Delicious, right blend of spices, nice ambience not too upmarket so don't expect anything posh like tablecloths or proper napkins. But very reasonable prices and great friendly service by the staff. I would definitely come again.
Food arrived very late, but defo worth the wait. Kabulli pulao was great as were the Nan's, portions are excellent, food was good and tasty, the restaurant management and staff need to be more exact on timings for delivery, Underpromise and over deliver is the golden rule. Thank you, would be fantastic if the food arrived on time or there about. Compliments to the chef.
I Just ordered online delivery using hungryhouse. Amazing food, tasty and portions were huge!! Chicken kebab perfectly cooked, extra bread and salad, yogurt natural fresh and really nice. For sure I will order again. Thank you:) ambra

Just had a delicious meal here with a big group of friends. I can thoroughly recommend the lamb karahi, kabuli lamb and ras malai. Really friendly and helpful staff and good value for money too.
