Fantastic atmosphere and toasted sandwiches to die for. Excellent quality sourdough, with fresh ingredients and a large portion of side salad. Very reasonably priced. Perhaps the best cafe in Dalston/Stoke Newington area.

Such a lovely place! Quite with nice music an a cosy outdoor space. Absolutely recommended! The owner is also very sweet and keen on chatting!

A great neighbourhood cafe, which often has special events on and some interesting art exhibitions.

Great atmosphere and unpretentious vibe. The most generous fresh salads and sandwiches at affordable prices. Simple and delicious. This is a real place with soul. Not many places like this are left in the area.

Such a wonderful little cafe, with delicious salads and a kind hearted owner. The type of café that has disappeared because of big chains... It's nothing fancy and that's a reason to love it. Friendly people, great art work on the walls, good food. Such a treat in this area. Thank you.

Pepe works hard and alone in this easy, comfortable cafe. He makes it look effortless. He is gentle, calm, unassuming, and attentive. He provides a really fabulous rustic selection of fresh toasted sourdough sandwiches, served with lovely innovative salads, light dressings, and great extras - the harrissa is devine! Coffee, tea, various infusions, freshly squeezed orange juice, are all available to enjoy. The music is diverse, sometimes quirky, always interesting. The changeing lighting casts light and shadow over stuffed sofas, tables and chairs, all with no strict regime. Changing art exhibitions are all available to buy. A really comfortable vibe all round. I am glad to know it.

Amazing service and food. I highly recommend the courgette sandwich!

Large portions, freshly prepared, at decent prices (big bowl of salad with two types of artisan bread and homemade humous for £6) in a relaxed local space featuring chill out music (but oddly full-on trance visuals).

Almost afraid to share how good this place is with people! Super chilled atmosphere, amazing sandwiches, diverse range of customers, and you will be VERY well fed for your money! Love it here.

Best sandwich lunch I ever had in my whole life, and I'm very old! Warm runny goat's cheese, sun dried tomatoes, great bread, huge mixed salad with rocket, beetroot, avocado, etc.etc. plus delicious vegan brownies, cake, and every herbal tea under the sun. Go try it :)
