Came here for a roast and was so impressed by the price, quality of food and service. We had a beef roast and a couple of lamb roasts and everyone was very happy with their roasts. The roast potatoes were a highlight. There was also live jazz which was a great surprise! We will definitely be back!

This used to be a great local pub, great service, warm home-y vibe and reasonable prices. Now under new management the prices have skyrocketed (not sure how they can justify this?), and feels like every other anonymous and alienating pretentious pub in Hackney.
