The best Irish Public House I have found in London so far. It will take a right good shop to surpass this well ran establishment. Owner Nancy, bar staff May and Danielle look after the customers in a truly friendly and professional manner. The food is excellent, home cooked and great value for money. The beer is always good and the customers are good decent people. Don't pass this place if you are looking for a pint in Finchley.........
Home from Home, pity they don't have a front bar......
Nothing will ever replace the 15sq feet on High St in Trim............ Slan.....
Thank you Nancy and lovely staff for making this such a welcoming pub. We always have a great craic here. Def recommend trying the Irish Stew
Such a beautiful place with awesome live band. They played the Irish anthem so beautifully well. I enjoyed the vibes and the dance. I'm definitely going back again. They do live performances every Wednesday from 5pm and Sundays 8pm so it is the best time to visit.
This is the Real Deal. Unpretentious Irish pub that actually feels Irish. We adore the authentic Irish live music and especially the Irish partner dancing. None if your 'ronde round the handbag' here. Only minor criticism is that the live music can get a bit too fast and monotonous. Mix it up a bit with Country style and would be five stars every time. Great atmosphere.
Good Guinness, Bar man Mick is a nice guy also
Lovely Traditional pub with things going on all the time.. irish dancing.. pub quiz and sports available if requested
Also amazing staff
A typical hole in the wall Irish boozer.
Looks rough and ready from the outside, but incredibly warm and welcoming once inside.
I've frequented this pub 4 times over the last 3 weeks, new to the area, and I'm always greeted with a smile and a "how are you?". Staff beyond attentive. Even though it's now service as usual, I've not had to leave my seat, 4 different bar staff spotting my pint almost finished and asking if I'd like another.
I've eaten here twice and both the traditional stew, and salt beef sandwich are excellent, and well priced.
It's very much a "local" bar...and that's not a bad thing. Barely anyone actually needs to order, the attentive staff knowing what their regulars drink.
Great boozer!
Very pleasantly surprised by the warmth and hospitality at this genuine Irish pub. I went here for a wake and found the staff extremely friendly and caring. The food was nothing short of excellent fresh sandwiches and and an Irish stew which will live on in my memory as the best I've had.
Nice place nice atmosphere one of the ladies behind the bar was called Jane so friendly and helpful wonderfully!
nice well kept irish themed pub with freindly people ..good beer..freindly managment..and diddly music at times..
Great place to meet people & watch sports
A friendly well run Irish themed pub. A limited but tasty well priced menu. Single lager option for c. £3.00 plus the usual brands. Has a small beer garden with tables and chairs at the rear and a similar al fresco option at the front. Covers sports, live music, and Nancy offers free bar snacks on certain days. Recommended.
