Tina, We Salute You’s main shindig is located up in E20 but the smaller original in Dalston manages to squeeze all their best bits into a smaller, more central package which we prefer in many ways. The brunch menu covers all your faves, from simple fresh fruit and granola to fresh avocado on toast with poached eggs, lime and chilli.
Nice cozy cafe, with tasty bagels and strong espresso coffee. Internal decoration is an interesting concept, with original works from local artists doodle on the wall. Calm neighbourhood good for sitting on the outdoor benches and having a avocado toast.
Great place for a sunny day! It's the kind of place you can come to work or read. There is not a wide range of choice but everything is really good.
I actually visited the Stratford location, where the lovely folk of Tina, We Salute You have recently taken up residence. A great addition to this blossoming neighbourhood!
Drinks are in plentiful supply - as it was a working lunch I sipped a pomegranate & orange San Pellegrino, but intend to return before long to try out the wine list.
We enjoyed gorgeous grilled cheese sandwiches (so good I forgot to take a picture!), then feasted on a pudding of cake and hot chocolate. My bread and butter pudding was lovely, with sweet hits of fruit and chocolate throughout.
Tina, I Salute You too.
The most delicious coffee I've had in a long time! The milk is rich and creamy, yet the fruitiness of the coffee really cuts through. Service is warm, casual and friendly. Pancakes with berries were scrumptious beyond belief! Incredibly generous serving of berries and marscapone too. Have been there three times this week, and will be back for more...
Awesome coffee, great cake. I love this place - it does the best coffee in the area and the cakes are amazing. The staff are really friendly and the place itself is really inviting. A little gem.
Amazing coffeeshop in dalston, go there at least 2-3 times a week. Can be tricky to get seats at busiest hours during weekends, worth to wait for one. Recommend the polish sausage sandwich with a flat white!
Entirely Its Own Thing, Entirely Addictive. Tina, We Salute You will soon be a very very famous spot for breakfast, brunch, lunch, coffee, tea. No.1 favourite discovery of 2009. Probably the best place to spend time in Dalston.
Tina We Salute You started from a cupcake stall at Brick Lane and quickly turned into the best coffee at Dalson. It's followers have scribbled their support across the whitewalls, which made a pretty art graffiti display. This petite coffee shop also exhibits talented local artists with a rotation every 8 weeks. For our visit, paper cut birds were hanging from the ceiling, giving a light design feel to the compact space. A good list
One of the landmarks on independent coffee places is definitely Tina We Salute You . The corner coffee shop in Dalston. Tina is a small, cool, cozy, and irreverent artistic coffee hub in East London. Started as a cupcake and coffee stall in Bricklane UpMarket, now an established coffee place and quite soon growing with a second location in Stratford
Love the coffee here. The service is with a smile and very efficient. The WiFi is a bit slow. I live around the corner so this is my local coffee haunt and lucky to have it on the doorstep. Try the breakfast, you won’t regret it.
Cosy small cafe great vibe with quality food, limited seating. Very new-age hipster Dalston cliental. You've gotta get the avocado on toast it was amaze (especially with a glass of fresh OJ)
Excellent coffee, great bagels and pastry, friendly staff and Michael Jackson soundtrack will make a great start of your day. Will definitely come back every time when in London.
Close to Kingsland Road and to Dalston stations, it was a nice surprise they use coffee from Alchemy. Good taste, smooth, not very strong americano. The place was somewhat quiet when I was there. Quite a luminous place, placed on a corner with windows on both sides. A tad small, trendy and comfy. I was told the walls decoration change from time to time.
So, I've always been walking passed this place without really trying it out. First of all: The banana bread and the white chocolate brownie is DELICIOUS. Everyone got to try it. Coffee is good quality and the avocado on toast was also really tasty. The only thing that I didn't like THAT much was that I couldn't get fried eggs instead of poached. So I ended up with no eggs at all. But I won't take off a star for that 😋
Hands down the most delicious and impressive smoked salmon bagel I've ever eaten. Soooo good! Coffees great too. Fantastic place to work from during the week.
Friendly staff, pleasant service, nice coffee, and we'll presented food that was very nice.
Amazing place! I just love spending time here. The food and drinks are delicious and reasonably priced, but what keeps me coming back for more is the atmosphere of this place. This little cafe is decorated in a very modern and stylish way, but still it's has its very own character. I just love the ceiling decor and huge tables, that give you space to literally empty out your bag on the table and have everything you need at a hands reach. As for the staff- they are all very friendly and love to chat with the customers. The only downside of this place is that it is a victim of it's own popularity, so expect lots of people.
We have been going here for two years and it’s a fantastic place for a chilled out brunch. Good coffee and atmosphere, and consistently good food. My only gripe is at the weekend laptop warriors taking up four seater tables with just one person. It’s not fair on those wanting to eat or on the establishment.
I was surprised to find my loyalty card still stored in their card storage more than a year later! Very handy idea of keeping them there! It makes them always a bit long to make coffees, well they seem to be busy at all times, but it is worth waiting, coffee is great!
