Madeleine’s Creperie

absolutely love this place. been here at least ten times, and I've always gotten the Oreo crêpe which is delicious. I often go with someone who gets coffee and smoothies every time, which he says are amazing as well. I normally come early Saturday right after it opens, so I don't have issues with business, the few times I did come on Sunday, it was busy but that's very understandable due to the popularity and size of the place. the only "issue" I've really had is one time I arrived at 8:40 or so, and it wasn't open and no one was there, which is fine since I understand people can be late. but then when coming back another 10 mins later there were some people waiting outside who had been told that it would apparently open at 9:30 by the staff, but no reason was provided. I waited until then and I did end up getting some food, but it was confusing and slightly annoying, but not enough to lower any part of my review. the staff have always been nice.

My family (and our dog) have been coming to Madeleine's for well over 3 years now on a regular weekly basis. We often walk through the village with our pup who pulls us into the cafe as the staff are the sweetest people to everyone (and pups) who go there. We are always more than happy oblige our pup with a visit as the ice cream and pastries are some of the best you'll get in London let alone Blackheath. A clean and friendly atmosphere created by the staff adds a level of charm to the place that is sadly missing from a lot of other places these days with so many feeling like a carbon copy chain.

Stopped off here for food while I was in Blackheath, and it was so good. I ordered a waffle but they gave me a crepe, however I didn’t ask them to change it as I didn’t really mind. The crepe was amazing, and I went back for a smoothie to take out with me, which was equally delicious. I will definitely be back here!
