The best brunches and breakfasts in north London. Beautiful presentation, huge portions and great tasting food which is reasonably priced.
We had the Manhattan plus curly fries, one tea and one coffee and the bill came up to £22. It was enough food for two people
Frankie’s Café is a local spot we like to visit whenever we’re in the mood for amazing café food. Be it break, brunch, or lunch, Frankie’s is yet to disappoint. When stepping in we’re always greeted with friendly faces and great aromas. The vibes are always on point with the flowered wall and booth styled seats.
We ordered French toast with fried eggs, syrup, hash browns, beef sausage, and a refreshing fruit medley. The French toast had the perfect balance of crispy and soft, and the extras accompanied them perfectly. The pancakes were an absolute delight as well. Topped with crispy bacon, syrup, beans, and scrambled eggs, it did not disappoint. For drinks, we had peach and green iced teas. Both were great and complimented the meal nicely.
We appreciate the staff dealing with our indecisiveness, taking its sweet time. She gave us ample time to make our choices without making us feel rushed. Our food arrived promptly, and the staff was attentive without being intrusive.
If you're on the lookout for a spot to satisfy your brunch cravings, I'd recommend giving Frankie's Cafe a shot. Just be prepared for a tough decision when it comes to ordering because there are so many options on the menu.
Great for brunch if you want to try something slightly different. Brilliant selection of dishes with a Turkish/Mediterranean twist- mashed avocado, Feta cheese, salads, roasted peppers, smoked salmon, poached eggs, pancakes etc. Generous portions. Around £10-13 (Oct '23). Go on weekdays (10.30-12pm) if you want to avoid the weekend queues.
