This was not Courtney's favorite pub, but still a good pub after changing hands, although the previous did a great job with lock ins. So much fun.

Used to go there back in the 80's before and after Charlton games.

The new owners at The Royal Oak have done a wonderful job of the refurbishment in recent months. My family have been coming to this Charlton pub for many years and it’s finally got its character back with a welcoming atmosphere, friendly team and excellent food with choices for all the family. My children say they have the best burgers - meat and vegan; a high recommendation indeed! I agree on the delicious vegan burger, chips and onion rings. Food supplied by JWalks Grill. We have never left hungry as the portions are generous.
Their range of drinks is excellent too with delicious cocktails on tap and good range of beers.

First visit to a pub since last year, under new management & the place looks amazing, it's like a whole new pub! Staff were attentive and very friendly, drinks brought to table, food was great. Seating out front & great garden. Would definitely recommend a visit.... 5 ⭐

Lovely local pub, just finished a great renovation. Friendly service, great range of drinks, and a cracking food menu as well. Plus we can even go inside now!

Stumbled across this place Last night, Greeted by a friendly Bar Lady, asked to find a table in the garden, Food was great (great food waitress) Drinks on point. Overall a nice few hours out. Highly recommended. Will return when the weather is warmer. 😁
