Reopened now after renos and this place looks clean and updated. Prior it was rather dingy. This place was packed for a thursday night, and super loud. Nice atmosphere and good sized menu. Ordered the nachos, fish & chips and potato and cheese pie. The nachos were only ok, have had better at other places before and loaded with more toppings. The fish & chips and pot pie were really good, flavorful and fresh. Good sized portions as well, you won't leave hungry.
I had a fantastic experience at the Catcher in the Rye. The staff, particularly Angel and Amir, were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure the quality of service. Their friendly and welcoming attitude made the visit truly enjoyable. The atmosphere was cozy, and the food and drinks were top-notch. I highly recommend this pub for a great time and outstanding service!

The staff are all very friendly and accommodating - nothing was too much of a problem. 100% recommended. Thank you all for a lovely evening. Everyone throughly enjoyed it. We will be back again soon.
Came in here with the family for a roast and I must say was one of the tastiest pub roasts I’ve never had in my life. The staff were all super friendly and the drinks were quite cheap too. 10/10 will definitely be back again.
Me and My GF went for a drink here the other week and ended up ordering some food, we both had Fish and Chips. It was the best fish we have had ina while. Defernetly recommend to others, very chill vibe good date spot. 4.4/5
Best pub in the area! Always showing sport and have delicious food. Best thing about it are the bar staff. Charlotte is especially welcoming and chatty and pours an unreal Guinness
Not a bad little pub to the south of Finchley Central station.
Was happy to find Staropramen on tap and well priced to boot. The food didn’t look bad either when being delivered to surrounding tables, although I didn’t indulge.
They also had sport on the telly too so can’t complain. The bar staff were also very nice too. A decent place for a flyer all in all.
Beautiful pub, great food, and amazing service. What more can you ask for? I will be visiting again soon.

Bartender Kieran was a true professional, charming us with his hospitality and knowledge of the drinks. His splendid recommendations made our experience even better.
