The food is basic but super good value for London. Staff are friendly. Can get a bit rammed and chaotic when the football is on, but probably that's why lots of people would head here

Unfortunately there had been a problem with the fridges and a lot of the menu was unavailable. However, the staff were friendly and helpful, the drinks reasonably priced and what I ate was good. The pub could do with some refurbishment.

Visiting from Australia, and after 3 days of uneventful and seemingly expensive food and beverage experiences, The Hendon is a gem.

What a discovery finding this gem!!!
It was very quiet as it was mid afternoon, however as soon as I walked through the doors, I was inside a a surprisingly spacious , and traditional English pub.
Lovely indoor and outdoor area, pet friendly, (the staff including ), and good service throughout.
The food was well priced, with generous portions and freshly made.
I had the best Ale pie ever with fries, peas and additional sauce.
Will definitely be back soon.

This is one of the best pubs in the area with great food options that doesn’t hurt the pocket. The ambience here is great during a Football screening. Definitely recommend coming here with some mates, grabbing a pint and using the student discount.
