Anise is been my first choice of asian food around chalk farm for the past 15 years. The quality of food is been excellent thorough all this years which is something very unusual around this area. I recently had the pleasure to finally meet the owners and they are very friendly but most important very professional in what they do. I would give more stars if I could!!!! Highly recommended!!!!!!

This Chinese perfectly hit the spot and is somewhere I'm going to come back to often. Not only did they nail the classics that I love but they have some really interesting creative dishes that I've not seen anywhere else. The portions are very generous and the staff were very friendly. Looking forward to trying more!

very prompt delivery, my food arrived a lot quicker then I expected. The sweet corn and chicken soup tasted fresh and was not overly seasoned and the prawn toast sticks were a novel and interesting take on a TA regular. Slightly disappointed with the special fried rice with duck as the meat was a little dry but overall I enjoyed my meal and will probably try again.

Best place to go if you like Chinese food and are vegan. Such delicious food and great quality. The vegan duck pancakes are amazing and the chilli seitan beef is also good. The Singapore noodles are super addictive too 😍 10/10

Anise is the best Chinese takeaway I have ever had, I don't normally write reviews here but the husband and wife who run Anise deserve the effort. The food here is real food, not those pre-frozen stodgy chicken balls and greasy noodle meals. I recommend their Singapore Rice Noodles and Won Ton Soup.

My housemates meal wasn’t vegan so I called back as mistakes happen. The way this restaurant dealt with this was so amazing. They sent us a new meal that came super quick and gave us some extra sides and a drink.
Besides this, my meal was absolutely amazing and I will definitely order again. My housemate was very happy when her meal arrived and the surprise of extra sides!
Thank you so much delivering high quality food during a pandemic. Really appreciate it.

Soooo impressed with our takeaway this evening. Quite possibly the best Chinese meal I've ever eaten!! All ingredients really fresh and delicious, the prawns were so tender and juicy. Tofu was cooked to perfection, and the spicy aubergine was to die for!

Try to order from these guys at least once a week because it is just sooooo good, 5 stars does this place no justice guys it needs 100 stars more! I do not go to any other Chinese place this is up their on the top list. Amazing staff to very friendly. Would of uploaded the food but didn’t get a chance ate it all up :)

just ordered take away for the first time. Everything was really tasty. Best chinese we have had in a long time. Would definitely order there again. Only thing is they forgot the sauce and cucumber for our duck . However forgave them as so yummy

Very good compared to what's available in the Camden / Belsize Park / Swiss Cottage / Hampstead area. Not as good as Goldfish but that restaurant is literally twice the price after all. Better quality ingredients but blander than Little Sichuan. Slightly healthier than average well cooked Chinese food with decent "fire taste"
