Very enjoyable experience. This place is great for a date or dinner with someone very close to you. I highly advise to try and sit at the bar to watch the cooks prepare the food as it is a nice attraction and is not something you often see. The staff is very welcoming and attentive. The food is diverse and delicate. You won't eat much yet you'll feel full. This place is great to try things you wouldn't have imagined existed. I didn't like all the plates we've tried. Maybe it would be good if all the ingredients were listed on the menu to avoid bad surprises. This didn't impact the wonderful dining experience and is only a way to improve it even further. It' cost about £30 per person, which I think is reasonable for the level of attention given to each dish and the quality of the food (I had never seen a chef going through a few basil leaves to pick the right one). Overal, Flor is a place I'd visit again with my best friend or my partner. The food is quite unique and so is the dining experience. Highly recommended.

Love this casual spot in Borough Market. They have absolutely delicious pastries and breads, and the dinner/lunch menu which constantly changes based on the season is really yummy. Throughout lockdown, ASAP pizza 🍕 was the best pizza in town, I hope it makes a comeback at some point.

The highlights for me were the wine, the waiter and the hake brandade (potato mash), with an honorable mention to the burrata and peach (who'd have thought that would be so good). The reason for 4 stars rather than 5 was because the turbot head (a special of the day) tasted as good as it looked, slimey and a bit gross, if I'm honest, HOWEVER, everything else was wonderful. Very cool interior, the upstairs seating almost makes you feel like you're in a back room of a wine cellar. The food was inventive and the was plenty of choice for my awkward dietary requirements to choose from (and our waiter helpfully crossed out all the dishes I couldn't eat). The wine selection was fantastic, we had 3 different glasses, each one as delicious and interesting as the last. Great atmosphere and a good price. Will definitely be back.

The hype is real on this one... does it deliver? Just about. The latest modern European offering in borough market. Some absolute knockout plates, others not quite there yet. Went a few days after it had opened so we’ll see if they can reach 5* level after my next visit. Interesting menu it must be said. EDIT: post-lockdown visit here was great. ASAP pizza for takeout or delivery is silly good. Thin-crust, sourdough. A lovely baked pie with really interesting toppings sourced from local producers. Lots of other yummy bits and bobs and some class sweet things.

We had a great experience at Flor, having been there shortly after they opened. The food was really good, the only comment I would make that the scallop tartare had quite sour berries with it which made it slightly difficult to taste the scallops. Everything else we had was absolutely delicious. I really liked the setting as well with the very high ceilings on the first floor. However there were a couple of kinks to work out (probably due to them only having opened recently). The music was relatively loud for the space and it was difficult for me to hear the waiter explaining wines and dishes (as he was standing next to my partner on the other side of the table). The first few dishes came in extremely quick succession, which made us feel very rushed (and logistically difficult to have a number of dishes arriving on a small table). Lastly, for a restaurant with a small plates philosophy, we would have expected to each get a small plate to allow us to easily divide the dishes. But considering the quality of the food, we will definitely be back!

Nice atmospheric restaurant with friendly & helpful staff. Casual dining downstairs, didn't see upstairs, sharing plates dining vibes, which is good if you're friends with your fellow diner! Tasty food, I'd go back for the mussel & speck flatbread & brown butter cakes, the turbot I could have cooked similar at home but it was tasty. Not too keen on the wines, didn't suit my palate but the champagne was a nice alternative. Overall, worth another visit!

Perfect spot for a fine lunch. They offer plenty of vegetarian dishes and a good selection of wine. I had the Datterini tart with violet aubergine and feta, Girolles flatbread with st tola and bream onion; Coco beans with courgette and nasturtium 🌼 and Summer vegetables with sesame dip. All washed down with delicious orange wine. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend it.

Flor. A great find, tucked away in the heart of the bustling Borough Market - the epicentre of quality food & produce in London. Open plan kitchen, one-page daily sharing taster menu. Typically 2-3 dishes per person. They struck an exquisite balance of taste, texture & creativity. Biodynamic organic wine selection. Passionate & knowledgable staff. Great ambiance - music was well selected & at the right volume & decor was inviting & relaxing. Price range: medium to upper but each bite is worth every penny. Would highly recommend!

Finally made it to Flor. Can’t say good enough things about how great of an experience I had in spite of all covid limitations. Highly recommend to sit at the bar where you can see the super talented staff in action. Had a selection of recommendations from our waiter who was very proactive and attentive given we only had 1.5hrs to eat and we pretty much wanted the whole menu! Favourite dish was the scarlett prawn rice and my date loved the veal skewers (not in pictures but also recommended). Only regret is not having had time (or space!) for the tiramisu. Will have to go back! Perfect for a date or to go in a small group.

Wow, the food here is amazing. We tried five small vegetarian plates which were delicious. The interiors are super stylish and the service is excellent. I went to investigate it for my blog and will definitely be writing an article on this restaurant. It's perfect for a cosy lunch date or dinner.
