Fun local pub! Great place to watch the game! Any game really even if you don't care about sport!

Great atmosphere and always packed with people! Saturday night after the England vs New Zealand rugby game the place was a bit of a mess but plenty of fun! Empty glasses strewn everywhere and harassed looking bar staff this place had maybe seen better days.

Come dinner time we attempted to order a few of the pizzas that were advertised for £3.50 on the chalk board. The bar lady wasn't impressed. At all. We were told they might not have them and just to see If they came out or not. They eventually did and we decided best not to eat them. Frozen pizzas half cooked weren't my ideal dinner. However after being mocked by our friends for ordering food in the first place, we realised that it was just one of those places you don't eat at!

The beer is always good though so it's definitely worth a visit for that!

Decent sport bar and in particular Its good to see alot of sporting memorabilia. Barman was very friendly and welcoming. Seating and decor was comfortable. They have some interesting drinks on tap. Its only a few minutes walk away from bethnal green tube station.

Great staff, good selection of pints and plenty of room to sit -- a more traditional boozer on a street with mostly modern pubs.

It is less busy pub than the others and also cheaper beer and can sit outside

love this pub, it's cute and cozy and has the cleanest toilets in the UK!

Not much in the way of glitz or glamour here, but that makes it. Not pretentious or trying to be anything other than a pub. Shows sport. Has a large beer garden, where you can still see a tv, and super friendly staff. Love it!

Very busy when football is on but good location. Prosecco comes in a little bottle so get more than normal.

Great local in the heart of East London. Good value pints and drinks. Quick service, perfect pints. The Outside area has been done up- lots of screens inside and out back to watch the matches. The front has one of the largest outdoor tables in the area to grab drinks in all seasons outside too. They don’t sell food but you can order Yardsale Pizza to the pub which is great!! Highly recommend for a slice of authentic east London charm and pints.

Met up with few old school pals in The Perseverance recently and I’m happy to say the pub was fit for purpose. Good service, good range of reasonably priced beer. Friendly staff, the landlord came out on several occasions to ask if we were enjoying ourselves. We decided to go for a crawl on The Broadway Market and although the pubs there had obviously employed the services of an interior designer, they were absolutely unwelcoming and soulless. (The grass definitely wasn’t greener) So we headed back to the Pers and most of us finished up there. “I’LL BE BACK!’

Fantastic, a throwback and what you want if you intend to go to a PUB. Looks it's not fancy, you won't find £15 burgers and £7 pints. But what you will find is well priced drinks, friendly and efficient staff with lots of regular characters. As mentioned it is fantastic for sport and that why I often frequent here. Love the fact they charge the same for a pint as they do for a half. Love the big middle finger up to the people who come in and should really be paying rent to sit there that long! Look, this is a pub, as traditional as it gets (not oldy worldly country pub traditional - east London pub) it is there to drink, socialise and watch sport. A complete BREATH OF FRESH AIR in this city. Here's to many more years!
