The Palette Restaurant offers some very nice food and within the appealing hotel setting, it has a classy feel to it.
The interior is wonderfully pleasant and the seating is comfortable. Staff are also very helpful and polite. I would recommend their tea, which was lovely and presented beautifully. However, their food didn't blow me away as I didn't notice anything special about it.
Their function rooms for smaller groups (approx 50 people) for dinner might be pricey but are worth considering because of its impressive location: right in the heart of Knightsbridge.
Delightful. I found this jewel using Google maps after leaving the Victoria and Albert Museum. It was a little confusing at first, as it was inside the Rembrandt Hotel. To add to the confusion, the actual restaurant was closed but the bar was open. I took my chances, and ordered fish and chips from the bar. The person who took my order was extremely friendly and I waited in a very comfortable chair at a small table. When the food came out, it was piping hot and looked marvelous. Looks were not deceiving. It was delicious. What's more, the chef came out to see if everything was okay about 10 minutes after I was served. I am from the United States and my idea of fish and chips was what they serve at Captain D's. In many ways, this was very similar. The battery was nice and crunchy and the fries were like steak fries, not potato wedges. The English peas were very tasty as well. I rounded out the meal with sticky toffee pudding.
Came here for dinner after visiting the museum. When we walked in, we were a bit confused. The restaurant section was closed, but the waiter said they were open for dinner and he sat us in the lounge area with small table with lounge-type chairs which were hard to maneuver, but it’s fine, it worked and we were hungry. The price point was very reasonable, given it’s inside a hotel and they even had a kids menu. The portion size was also very good. The kid’s fish and chip seemed like adult sized portion!
Attended a wedding here,lovely venue. The staff were very friendly. Buffet style menu, the food was amazing. Highly recommend

Very nice, calm relaxed atmosphere. Would have liked more options mid afternoon than just afternoon tea on the menu. Evening meals are great & include good children's options
