Great zoo, well planned out and loads animals to see. I really liked that most of the animals had free-range pavilions like the monkeys and birds, because I've seen in other zoos cages can be small. Butterfly paradise was absolutely amazing!! All the staff were extremely helpful and shared some facts about the animals. I had the 10am ticket and went straight to the across the road and I was there by myself first to see zebras, first to see giraffes!! Toilets well maintained. Free maps at the entrance. Took me to walk around the whole zoo about 3 hours.
One of the best zoos we've been to. The animals all seemed happy and had very thoughtful environments. It was clean and the staff were very helpful. There's a wide range of animals and a lot of educational opportunities.
Located about twenty minutes away from Camden Town,ZSL Zoo was such a pleasant one to visit. We had a wonderful time in the zoo and learnt a lot of things about their animals and conservation efforts. All the staffs were warm and friendly to welcome non-locals to their Zoo. We went in around 11am and finished our day by 3PM. The Zoo closes at 4pm. The Zoo also had many talks on animals too. The gift shop was also big and had many varieties of toys and educational items for kids and adults alike. My favourite part of the Zoo was the area that showcased the lions as it literally brought us back to India and it's rich culture. Truly beautiful experience.
Overall a good day out with the children. You can definitely spend up to 6h in there. Going in summer or warm climate it's best as the animal hide during cold weather.
Amazing visit and so many extra activities arranged for kids.
Lots of various animals to see. However, many were not on site, and yet areas were open to enter, wasting the time for visitors.
During our recent visit to London Zoo, we had an absolutely wonderful time at this attraction. We spent roughly four hours exploring the place and covered about 3 miles on foot. What I found particularly helpful was the condensed layout of the site, especially compared to other places like Whipsnade. It allowed us to move quickly between different areas, making the most of our time.
One of the standout features was the spider exhibit. What sets it apart is the ability to actually walk in and observe the spiders up close. No glass panels separating us, just an open and immersive experience. It was a rare and fascinating opportunity.
The giraffes were another highlight of our visit. They're simply amazing creatures. The way they were showcased was beautiful and it's clear that a lot of thought goes into making the visit enjoyable.
In summary, our time at this attraction was nothing short of delightful. It's a condensed and engaging experience, making it perfect for those looking to make the most of their visit to London in a relatively short amount of time.
Had lots of fun. Not as organized as some other zoo's I have been to but still fine. Didn't see some of the animals but it was rainy so they were probably hiding. Good variety of different species of animals and lots of cute statues and artwork. And nice gift shop.
I love the London zoo, I’ve been four times. The staff are friendly and the animals are so cool. The food is pretty expensive so I recommend bringing your own (they let you bring it in).
A bit on the expensive side but has a lot of rare animals and is a very unique experience. The animals are kept in conditions that are very close to their natural habitat. Very clean and well maintained. Thy staff are very friendly too. Very good for families. Make sure to visit the penguin pool.
