I can't believe I have only just discovered this place. It is a little oasis.
A friend and I hired a room for a birthday party and I’d really recommend the Hub as a venue. The staff were really helpful, both in answering our queries beforehand and on the day itself. It’s a bright and spacious room and being able to open the doors and use the outdoor space for a bouncy castle was a real bonus. Would highly recommend!
I had my two daughters birthday party there in October, I hired out the community hall for a chocolate making party. The hall was immaculately clean when we entered, and they sink, microwave and fridge facilities all at hand. There are enough table and chairs both for adults and children. The hall is quit spacious to fit up to 40 people and the outside space is very convenient to allow in a lot of fresh air.
The staff were very helpful when booking and as well as helping during the party. This is the second time I have used the hall and would definitely use again.
I hired the hall for my daughters 8th birthday last week. The hall it self is very spacious and comes with tables and chairs. To hire the hall is very straight forward and the people are there to help if needed and are very polite and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place. Good price as well.
Beautiful community café and recreation centre ,clean, well lit ,good nutritious food, vegan and vegetarian options, great fair trade coffee ☕️ lovely staff 😍
It’s such a cute place near the pond. Their coffee is very nice as well. It would be amazing if they had a quiet study space for people that work remotely. Sometimes I just want to do work near nature and having that cafe atmosphere would be amazing.
We hired out the community room for our daughters 3rd birthday party and it was great. Carola made everything really easy and everything was really laid back. The space is really lovely with lots of light and everyone had a great time. The excellent coffee at the cafe always helps too!
A real lifeline during my maternity leave. Welcoming cafe with amazing volunteers and great schedule of activities for the local community. In the middle of a beautiful park with great playgrounds, lake to feed the birds and little woods. Just booked their big room for my daughter's birthday and it was perfect.
Friendly spot to refuel with a mixture of meals & drinks made on the spot and of course a small selection of confectionary, ice cream and cold drinks.
There are also lots of community services and facilities, including rooms for hire. The cheaper rates are made possible by the fact that many of the staff here are volunteers- I make sure to give thanks by way of extra smiles and any other form of gratitude that occurs on the spot.

I love their cafe, playgrounds and the pond next to it. It is actually a social club with interesting events for any age.
This is also an excellent place to book an event. I organised 2 birthday parties there and it went very smooth.
They have a large general room with an outdoor that can be used. It has an on toilet and kitchen area. You can relay on the staff. They are very nice and helpful. Just a great place. Thank you
We hired the General Activities room for our daughter's 4th birthday party and it was great. Really good space and facilities with ample room for games and playing and it opens directly to the park.
The booking process was really easy and Carola was super helpful, we'll definitely use it again!
