My colleagues and I had an with the service on one occasion, but the Manager/Chef of Horse and Groom was fantastic in rectifying the issue. We were really happy with the food and service - and the food is top notch. Very satisfied happy and customer. Thanks to the Horse and Groom team! :)

My friends and I were on the way to Queen of Hoxton for some drinks, however we wanted to have some food first and since they weren't serving any at that time, we had to find a place where to have dinner first. Luckily Horse & Groom was right next to it, so we didn't have to go further than that and I should admit it was great. When we first entered this small, cozy place the tables on the first floor were all taken, so we had to sit ourselves on the second floor, however ordering took place downstairs. I went for "Green Chilli Chicken" for only £6.50, which I thought was so flavoursome and somewhat spicy. Chicken was in the shape of small balls, which i found very interesting, coz it usually comes out as strips or big chunks. I would recommend anyone to try this place out, because it's great for the given value.
If you are looking to dance and party, Horse & Groom is where you want to go to. Holding late licences, you have the possibility to stay late and enjoy yourself. Drinks are Shoreditch prices, nothing new, however you are guaranteed an enjoyable time if you head there. I was here with my friend on Friday night until the closing time. It was not very crowded and the atmosphere was really nice. We tried a few beers, and the barman was kind enough to offer us a free Kraken shot.
Typical London pub - although was quiet on a Wednesday night when I visited. Small inside but do a variety of beers. Not much space on the street, so not sure what it is like when it gets busy.
This is a little gem! what a great atmosphere and music that keeps you dancing all night. They have friendly staff, funky DJs, heated outdoor smoking area, cocktail bar (great espresso martini!) and as you can see from the photo, a vibrant group of happy people dancing the night away. A must visit if you're in the area! Highly recommend
Buzzing atmosphere upstairs was less crowded and a wee beer garden good choice of lager, recommend The Brooklyn Brewery
Great place for joining a party, especially on their soul filled Sundays. Always nice to find a pub with a pub atmosphere.

Lively small pub with disco nights and live DJs with lots of dancing. Give it a try if you love disco.
Fun venue with great music but the sound system is terrible and the drinks are well overpriced.
I went here on a Friday night, it was free entry and they have a good sound system playing electronic beats mostly. However the music was not too crazily loud that I could still chat to my mates.
Drink prices were standard and were acceptable to me given that the sound system was good, nice people and good ambience.
Hence overall I think it's a good venue.
