Lovely design, very beautiful bar. Nice that drinking area is in the middle of restaurant, so you can see what the food looks like. Toilets are in need of some repairs, from three cabins, only one was in working order. Mirrors leading to do downstairs looks worn and dirty, one was also broken. Service is good, but our bill was mistakenly not closed after paying, so when we went to order second round, had to prove that we paid. Prices very high. Overall good place, but not the best in area.

I was meeting a girlfriend for lunch and we were planning to meet at Pret. Pret was way too crowded due to it being lunch time and I looked next door and saw Bilbao Berria had tables. I’ve seen this restaurant many times and was happy to finally try it. Food: For lunch they have pintos at the bar you can take and keep the sticks in a holder at your table along with ordering tapas from their menu. We ordered the following tapas: croquetas, tomato salad, patatas bravas, pimientos and the chorizo. Everything was delicious and had a lot of flavour. Drinks: We ordered two soft drinks. Price: 32.06 GBP for two people which was reasonable. Ambiance: The space is done really nicely and feels welcoming. Service: The service was friendly, but not perfect. Our waiter forgot a couple of things, but luckily caught them in time to where we weren’t late in getting back to work. Would I go back? Yes. I would go back because the food was good and there’s not a lot of nice places in that neighbourhood.

This is a new discovery for me as I rarely venture down the lower end of Regent Street due to all the works going on. So this place has been open for the past three months and pintxos has a place close to my heart because I've been to San Sebastian/Donostia and Bilbao and apart from just being a great holiday, the food there was amazing! BB looks spanking new and is rustically modern and on two levels with proper bar and Iberico ham carving near the main entrance. They do a relatively small selection of pintxos - which is a shame because there needs to be at least double the amount. And only one veggie option (!) so I had to order from the a la carte menu. The meat options were all delish from both menus or so I’m told, but the veggie a la carte options were FAR too rich. I got bloated from it... it was not pretty... But they have a lot of potential, the staff were mainly Spanish, friendly, quick and helpful. The bar looks great, good selection of cocktails (£10 is pretty pricey so they better be good), wine and only 2 types of beers… I wonder if they do pintxos size wine…? Has potential, so I will be back.

I walked past this place on the way to the park, and boy, did it look amazing! Came back after a movie at VUE on Thursday night and it had quite a few patrons at the bar area on the ground floor (their restaurant is in the basement). Instead of sitting at a table, we decided to sit at a "keg" table right next to the wine cellar, giving us plenty to ogle at! We went and picked up a few Pinxtos, which unfortunately, the choices were not great. Most people appeared to be ordering cheese platters and iberica ham, or ordering cooked seafood tapas from the bar and drinking wine. The few pinxtos we were interested in were delicious though, it came in a decent size for £1.85 per stick! We also ordered a Bilbao Berria cocktail (£10) whilst expensive, was really tasty! The decor and atmosphere was amazing. The lighting is dimmed and there is a sort of low chatter from patrons. Service is not that swift but it was bearable! We had to ask them about the iberica ham before they gave us the tapas menu! I'm thinking i want to come back to try out the restaurant downstairs next time!!

Nice place... if you are spanish. The waitress spoke little broken english, was hard to communicate. Only spanish wine selection with little explanation as to the taste and aroma of them. Try the rice dish! Relatively expensive.

Nice pintxos, at a decent price (1.85 each) since they are a type of delicatessen however you will need to eat several of them. Pintxo is like something between a canapé and a small sandwich made with the best ingredients in a very elaborated way. They have a good selection of wine so it is a good place to grab a small bite while enjoying a good wine. At the end we paid around 25GBP for 5 pintxos and two glasses of wine.
