Chez Gerard - Rupert Street

Came here with some friends and was very spectical as im a Greek cuisine purist. I left the restaurant truly humbled the dishes were incredible and still respected Greek traditional flavours. The vibe of the place and service were fantastic too. 100% on my list of top places in London for Greek cuisine.

Beautiful designed restaurant and bar near Leicester Square serving Aegean inspired dishes. We had Seabass Ceviche, Saganaki cheese with truffle honey, Taramasalata & Tzatziki dips to start and for mains the sliced Roast Chicken with barley, and graviera cheese and Pastichio which is a Greek baked pasta with king oyster mushrooms and a cheese sauce. For dessert we shared the Lokma , fried dough balls with thyme honey, walnuts, and served with Madagascan vanilla ice cream. A very filling sweet! Prices are high but it is a central location and a good place for a date night and there is good music with different DJs

This place has a great atmosphere. The music was lively throughout the night and the service was really good. Our waiter was knowledgeable of the menu and recommended a great cheese starter. The food was really good and the lamb was cooked to perfection, falling apart with just the fork. Definitely recommend going here if you’re looking for good ambiance and food.

We had a greta experience, the ambience is super lively so this place is great for a fun dinner or a dinner before a night out. The staff was very accommodating to us, they moved our tables when we weren't happy with the one provided and adjusted the AC for more comfort as per request. The food was great! I would say, try a bit of everything. Portions are not small so come hungry.
