Jaipur Indian Cuisine

I am happy with my recent Jaipur meal. I gave it four stars for a well prepared clean meal. I just wished the food had less salt in it, and the poppadoms were made to order. The packaging is good and very easy to recycle: tin containers with cardboard tops. The tin can go into the dishwasher and then in the recycling bin for collection. Some more info will come as I try more items from the menu. The meals we ordered were pilau rice, chicken Kormas, and a Chicken Rezala with fresh Naan and poppadoms that were made earlier in the day. If you like dining at the restaurant the dining area is very clean and well presented. They can accommodate parties as large as 18, most evenings with a reservation. I like the staff there and the service is good. I always feel takeaway meal portions are larger than meals in the restaurant.

I have had takeaway from The Jaipur every other week since I moved in round the corner in October. I usually find Indian takeaway too oily but I have never been disappointed with this one. The staff are lovely and the food is always delicious. Thank you! I can’t wait till the restaurant is open again so I can experience the food and service in house :-)

Got a takeaway - delivery was prompt, the driver was lovely, and the food was piping hot and most importantly delicious. The Lamb in the Passanda was beautifully cooked, it practically melted in the mouth; and the gravy was surprisingly spicy but very tasty. The Achar is a fantastic curry for something a little different - spicy and pickly. We will be ordering again.
