The atmosphere is what you make it. The chicken is KFC chicken. Not undercooked or over. It's halal so a big plus for me. The only issue with fast food places is that other customer leave their tables in a mess, most probably because they are fatherless. If you find a clean table, you enjoy KFC. At worst you will get a dirty table. I haven't had an order go wrong here fortunately. The service is fast.
The area is dirty but if you just have a quick bite and run away then you will be fine.
Came in for a small pack of popcorn chicken on which to chew while sitting, chilling out and watching the world go by from my window seat. The music was throbbing but quiet, the cuisine was crunchy and tasted delicious, the clientele were decent SE Londoners, the staff were friendly and welcoming. Peaceful atmosphere all around, I will certainly recommend this experience.
