Wonderful meal.I enjoyed all aspects. We had tzatiki beetroot tarama salad chicken and halloumi souvkaki...Greek gin and tonic......all the flavours were identifiable...nothing over powered....variety of breads tasted of char grill 👌The Greek gin tasted of cucumber. The place is super clean. The girls serving us were super efficient , busy professional, and everything was done with a smile.I liked the food....it was simple clean flavours and although deviated slightly from traditional Greek food the twisted were good subtle additions and good.Thank you so much Kalimera team front and back...looking forward to returning very soon.
My friend and I visited Kalimera for dinner last Friday. It was the first food outing we had since pandemic and we are so happy we tried this new establishment in the lovely Crouch End neighborhood. Highlight of the night was definitely the lamb dish. So tender and flavorful. Cooked to absolute perfection. My friend was sold on her first bite and immediately re-ordered the same dish again. She is a conservative eater especially when it comes to western food so that was very impressive. Portion was generous too. Even though I am not a big drinker, I am glad I tried their cocktails - yummy, refreshing, creative with a Greek twist. Service of course was attentive and super friendly. I also like the decor and music. Simple and tasteful. The space feels perfect for any type of gathering. We will definitely visit again! Next time I want to try their lunch box and explore the Crouch End neighborhood afterwards.
I recently discovered this hidden gem of a Greek restaurant that's just a 10-minute walk from Hornsey Station in Crouch End. As soon as I walked in, I was impressed by the modern and inviting decor, which set the perfect tone for the evening. The staff were incredibly friendly and informative, making great recommendations for food and drinks. They were also happy to answer any questions we had about the menu, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Speaking of the food, everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The House Moussaka was a standout dish with its slow-cooked beef and lamb ragu, while the Kaimaki Delight dessert was the perfect sweet finish to the meal. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great Greek cuisine in a cosy and inviting atmosphere. It's the perfect spot for a night out with friends!
