Good Stockwell pub located between Brixton and Stockwell tube stations. One cask ale and one cider on gravity feed when I last visited. The Affinity Brew Co Grosvenor Gold which I was drinking was a pleasant pint and very good value at £3.95. The Grosvenor also serves about 20 craft beers and is home to the Affinity Brew Co brewery. A few tables outside which can be covered by an awning. The pub offers pizzas between 17:00 and 22:00 every day.

Like many of this kind of building, there were many beers available to drink within it’s walls. And I must admit there were many more than many other buildings of this kind. And so many of them were so very tasty. And the street on which it sat was particularly pleasing to sit out upon and watch the night drift slowly by.

My husband loves this pub, sometimes we come together. I'm not a beer lover, but I enjoy eating pizza and snacks. The food is delicious here, there is its own atmosphere and excellent service.

Finally paid a visit to this hidden gem down the back roads of Stockwell. Leased by @affinitybrewco from the same owners as excellent @prioryarms83, it's an unreal pub with so much to offer. Once I'd come to grips with the fact I'd been pronouncing it wrong on account of my typo and subsequent autocorrect constantly putting it as Gros-nover, the Grove-nuh felt like a pub from yesteryear but with modern twists. The tayto crisp selection mashed with the 15 different taps of craft beer, the retro arcade machines alongside the pool table that accepts card payments (a separate debate was had about how you "claim" a next game if no coins are used - will any coin do? Do you put your debit card down? - a board with the rules now up apparently!), a brewery in house which allows pints to be sold sub-£5, and sports on the screen but not exclusively football. It's got a bit of everything, and you wouldn't expect it. The Google reviews are less than favourable if you go back beyond the takeover a few years ago, and when I suggested we head here it was met with restrained enthusiasm. Walking in the door, a bit of back and forth with the barman, and the guys I was with felt right at home. It had personality, it had space, and it had choice. If you come out of here and take a short stroll back down the incredible structure of Stockwell Bus Station, you can tag-team this with a Priory Arms visit too. A lovely little excursion all in all, and London Black by @anspachhobday was the standout, again. Impeccable pour, the glassware makes you feel important. Love it.

Refurbished and reopened after five years in the wilderness, this large corner pub on a quiet street between Stockwell and Brixton offers 20+ lines of keg beer, along with wines and cider. Wooden floors and plain white walls give it an austere feel, but it's a work in progress. Plenty of tables to sit at, and a kitchen on the way.
