Genuine gem for South London. One of the best Italian restaurants I've been to. On par with Padella (Borough Market) overall, I'd say. All dishes great, some exceptional, and service/atmosphere outstanding.
Highly recommend; great authentic Italian pastas, including vegetarian and vegan options. We loved the bruschetta (focaccia was delicious) and pan di Stella dessert, but everything was yummy. Great friendly service too 👍
I see why this restaurant has received a lot of praise (on here). I ordered the Lamb Ragu according to staff recommendations and they were especially accommodating to me. Freshly made pasta, lamb that melts in your mouth, flavourful bread... This place is too underrated for its own good.
Truly fantastic fresh pasta restaurant - the guys in here show a genuine passion that you won’t find in many other places.
The dishes are simply amazing. The fresh pasta is delicious and becomes an integral part of the dish, rather than a filler or vehicle for the sauce. My absolute favourite is the amatriciana which is just the right balance of rich tangy tomato and pork cheek which almost seasons the sauce.
Everything is well priced and the portions generous, they even use biodegradable packaging for takeaways!
LO Paste Tradizionali is the best place to have some truely Italian home made pasta. I had Chitarra and as a side dish I had Parmigiana. Previously we tried Vinncisgrassi, which is a 15th century vegetarian lasagna and I had Maccheroncini, which is made of Italian sausage, rustic tomato sauce and dried Ricotta. Staff is friendly, service is excellent.
Could not recommend this spot highly enough. Amazing food, very tasty high quality and authentic. The service is incredible, very friendly and accommodating hosts. Went truly above and beyond to make our visit very memorable. Will be back!
Absolute gem, we’re very grateful to have this tasty treat on our doorstep!
Had a fantastic lunch dining in today - friendly service, excellent food. Pictured is the special with butternut squash and guanciale
Blink and you’d miss it.
Very traditional pastas, many that you wouldn’t see in the menu of a lot of Italian restaurants in South London.
Both times I’ve been in there’s been a working duo; the lady helpful and front of house. The gent on the kitchen, skilfully multi-tasking the order execution.
The food seems fresh, well seasoned and filling. Prices reasonable.
If you’re local, you absolutely must eat here.
Absolutely lovely place! Owners are so accommodating and they are the perfect hosts. There was 5 of us and all our requirements were met. The food was so nice that I had to buy a take away home for lunch the next day!
Love that the food is cooked in open view with no secrets in the kitchen. The pasta was so fresh and the sauces they made were sublime!
I ordered the Sedanini from the menu, which was probably the best pasta I have ever had. Very genuine little business where everything is made with love. Will definitely go there again!
Thanks guys!
