Came here for dinner as we spotted it on the road, it was absolutely incredible. Portions were big, staff were really lovely, very attentive and great atmosphere. Would absolutely come here again, and recommend the mussels!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tia Rosa with my team for lunch, and I was thoroughly impressed with the food. As my first experience with Portuguese cuisine, I was delighted to try the Francesinha, which was recommended by my manager. The dish was massive and with tasty sauce - it was absolutely delicious! I would highly recommend Tia Rosa to anyone looking for an authentic Portuguese dining experience in King's Cross, London. The service was also great and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was welcoming and comfortable. A must-visit for foodies!
The food is very nice, big portions and staff are friendly. Price is decent! Would recommend if you want to taste portuguese cuisine.
💎 A true gem in King’s Cross. I truly don’t understand why isn’t full everyday. 💎
Great place to eat typical Portuguese food. Great service , amazing food and big portions for the price you pay.
We had “caldo verde”, which is a vegetable soup. It was very nice (recommended)
We had squid (calamari). And for main, we had “Polvo” (octopus), exquisitely made. And we had Bitoque do frago, a typical dish from Portugal made out of rice, chicken with a sauce, and chips. Delicious!
Had an amazing time here, the steak in my bitoque was so tasty and tender, every dish we had was tasty and fresh 👌 The staff are all lovely people too, will definitely come back soon
Had an absolutely fabulous experience at this authentic Portuguese restaurant in the hidden heart of King’s Cross. The meal was absolutely delicious, with large portions and it was lovely to get a chance to speak to the owner Paulo and the server Tiago. As you can see from the pictures I couldn’t resist. This is a family run restaurant with the cutest set up and just what the doctor ordered for a wonderful evening!
Would highly recommend the BACALHAU À LAGAREIRO, the rich flavours and textures leave you feeling warm and the authenticity makes it feel personalised to your soul.
Lovely restaurant with lovely staff. Food was fresh and authentic, very tasty. Sat outside in the sunshine and felt like I could be in Portugal. Can’t wait to visit again
Hidden gem. Great family run restaurant. Francescinha was amazing, better than from Porto!
Popped in with a group of 8 us and had a lovely meal. I had never had Portugese food before and most us opted for a Franceshina “Tia Rosa” - a sandwich filled with steak, chorizo and ham, topped with melted cheese and a fried egg in a sauce with chips.
Wowsers it was good!
The boss served us and he was friendly and helpful too!
Great experience after being recommended this place by a friend. Food was great with excellent service with substantial portion sizes. Best place for authentic Portuguese food in London.
Been back since my first visit and it’s definitely one of the best restaurants I’ve been. They stick to what works and the portions are great value for money. Would recommend to anyone who want Portuguese food in London.
