Paradise is a cute and super trendy Sri Lankan place in Soho. They have a really pared back setting and a select but interesting menu. The dishes were super delicious and quite unique compared to other Sri Lankan restaurants. I was especially interested to see rambutan featured in the menu in the form of a chutney. The portion sizes were quite small and it is fairly pricey with its Michelin credentials. But the service was top notch and the cocktails were great too! Definitely worth a visit if you are ready to try some delicious dishes with some unusual Sri Lankan ingredients.

This was my second visit and the food was great but the portions are on the smaller size. Between the two of us, we shared the kimbula-banis (nice little flavourful bites), long fried aubergine (slightly sweet but complimented the dishes), the scallop and crab curry (really delicious), sirloin steak (perfectly cooked and excellent sauce) and some some paratha (this was a little disappointing as it came cold and not fluffy). Service was attentive too.

Highly recommended! Not sure how it is possible that this place have been here for a while, in plain sight and I only booked now! From food to drinks to the coolness factor, this restaurant has it all! My friend’s mezcal margaritas was really smooth, so much so that it could easily make my Top 3 margaritas served in London. Food is comforting with a modern twist. Atmosphere is perfect, great for dates or solo diner.

The dish we ordered is a feast for the senses. One of the best dishes we ordered on the menu is the scallop crab curry. The curry sauce is flavorful and has a nice kick of spice. The dry-aged sirloin steak is served with a rich and flavorful curry made with jaffna spiced peanuts and wagyu bone marrow. The celeriac is fermented in lunu-miris, a traditional Sri Lankan spice blend, which gives it a unique and delicious flavor. This dish is sure to please even the most discerning palate.

I would recommend if you’re like me - wanting to try new and interesting flavours and appreciate good design and attention to detail. I go to places to savour the entire experience not just to fill belly. From the moment you enter in the greeting to the moment you leave, it’s a wholesome experience. Every dish had interesting flavours. I expected spice and I can say there’s something for every spice threshold. I can’t handle much and the choices we made were good and mild. Overall impressed with staff attentiveness and flavour combination. Scollop dish was fantastic. Would have loved to try something sweet.

One of my favourite restaurants in London. Incredible creative menu and flavours are perfect - only criticism would be that by small plates they really do mean small plates, but for the quality it’s worth it. Particularly enjoyed the dal, pol roti and aubergine dish. Cocktail menu is good too!

Paradise, known for its rotating Sri Lankan menu, boasts a range of exquisite dishes, including the irresistible "Grilled Dry-Age Sirloin Steak" (£19.90). Paired with a Jaffna spiced peanut and wagyu bone-marrow curry, this steak is taken to new heights. The "Stir-fried Devilled Prawns" (£17.10) are ACTUALLY devilishly spicy (I can take spice quite well) and perfect for those who love heat. Other noteworthy dishes include "Seared Hand-dived Orkney Scallops" (£19.50), "Rasavalli Purple Yam & Coconut Pol-Roti" (£6.60), "Cashew & Roasted Hazelnut Curry" (£11.50), and "Slow-braised Native-breed Pigs Head Empanada" (£7.20). Do note that portion sizes are on the smaller side. While the "St Ewe's Hens Egg Rice-Flour Hopper(s)" (£5.90) may seem pricey, it's comparable to hoppers at other Sri Lankan restaurants. Overall, Paradise is one that offers a unique and delicious dining experience. Full review @jagglet on Instagram.

Outstanding Sri Lankan fare in a beautiful setting and with great service - highly recommend the purple yam and the crudo appetisers, the dahl, the scallops and the rice hopper. We didn’t love the dessert or the chickpea and cashew curry, though they are definitely good. Service was flawless and the decor is really intimate. Will definitely be back!

What a gem!! First off, the staff and friendly and fun. The space is really cool albeit tiny. We sat in the window and had a great lunch. The plates are smallish, but that means you can order 2-3/person and try a lot. We loved the pol pani and crudo as our starters. The monkfish, dal (with crispy kale on top!), cashew curry, egg hopper (wow), and ghee roti we’re all perfect. So flavorful and yum. We had the marshmallow and gelato dessert and I loved how spicy it was!! Would definitely come back for another meal.

Delicious flavour packed dishes that got me more excited with every mouthful! Monkfish crab curry blew me away and the grilled prawns were so good. Note bookings for 2 people are at the bar only so of you’re short like me is not the most comfy but after the food comes out that’s soon forgotten 😜 Will be recommending!
