Baccala - London - Photo album

We requested a table for 3 for my mom’s birthday and got a lovely table at the dining room downstairs. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. The kitchen layout was great with glass doors allowing us to see the busy, dedicated behind-the-scene moments between chefs. We enjoyed the pasta dishes ver
Service was very attentive and they were all very helpful. Pasta dishes were on the expensive side but the linguine with prawns was worth the money. Not convinced it's authentically Italian but all the dishes we tried had a bit of twist which I found really pleasant!
Baccala’ had been recommended to me by a friend so during my last trip to London I decided to try it out. The restaurant was very busy, oozing with good vibes. A look around revealed patrons enjoying their experience, which further raised my expectations. I tried the Oyster of the “day”, from Ire
Decent Mediterranean restaurant with classic Italian dishes on the menu, great wine menu and friendly staff. The restaurant is situated directly on Bermondsey High Street, which is totally lively and vibrant - a joy seeing people walk by whilst enjoying food and wine. The appetisers (Tuna Tartare) w
This is the best restaurant I’ve ever visited in London! The bread, oysters, tuna, pasta and tiramisu…everything was very delicious. We want to come here every single week from now on if it’s possible😘Definitely we are coming back for the tasting menus very soon. Gokce is SO AMAZING, see you soon x
We had a fantastic dinner here! The food is fabulous and the staff here is so friendly! We would definitely go back again 🥳💕
One of the best Italian restaurant in London!Cosy atmosphere, fantastic food and friendly and knowledgable staff!
Great food but will have to give 4 stars due to very cold air coming in from the door, which wasn’t closing properly as it was damaged. Sitting on the high chairs next to the doors is not recommended!
We tried spicy tuna steak, pasta with black pepper and baby octopus with Italian northern white wine. It was delightful and the dishes were tastefully surprising as they didn't taste like typical Italian style seafood dishes. Sourghdough breads with olive oil that we selectively choose were delicio
We went to Baccalà for dinner and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was authentic, fresh and delicious. They make the baccalà mantecato which is both on the day menu and the dinner menu and probably the best baccalà mantecato I’ve had. They have accommodated our 2 years old kid on a Friday nig
One of the best Italian restaurant around :) My 2nd time here didn’t disappoint at all. Food was so tasty with a stunning presentation. 1 order was wrong but all the team was so apologetic and went above and beyond to sort. Thank you for the wonderful food and service. You’ll have me back again :) I
Average to good taste, average price and portions for this style of restaurant. Came with friends, tried some of the appetisers and pasta, including the octopus. Think the pastas were good, don't have good memory of what the others were so probably not as good. Also tried the olive oil tasting, t
Really nice restaurant! We had a reservation on a Friday night, the concept is around fish and wine. We took a bottle of wine for which the waitress gave us really nice advice. We also go for the bread and olive oil that was super good (you can choose your oil from a list and we follow the waitress
This review is based solely on the olive oil tasting. We stopped in mid afternoon to do the tasting. The restaurant was quiet as it would be between lunch and dinner, and we did not eat anything. The service was great and included nice touches like complimentary house sparkling water. For the tastin
Amazing wine bar/ restaurant on Bermondsey Street. If you are around London Bridge, it is the place to go at anytime of the day. The whole experience from start to finish is great! The waitress were so friendly and kind. The food can’t get better and the prices are fair for the portion size. A gre
Very friendly service, delicious food and nice atmosphere! The food was so good, shared the bread basket and burrata as a starter and then had the prawn pasta (which was a massive portion). My friend had a vegetarian pasta dish and we shared a tiramisu. We also had a bottle of white wine and lots of
Went there for lunch and had the best oyster I’ve ever had in 2022! The octopus and calamari were spectacular 🤤 Staff were very friendly and gave on point recommendations for white wine pairing as well. Regret I didn’t try the tiramisu, will def visit again!!
Visited again after three months away and the food again superb. Highly recommended. Had the most beautiful, fresh and delicious oysters aperitif with the sweet delicate flavours of Carlingford and the Cornish oysters with Proseco . Great combination and a good price. Had the classic octopus to foll
