Absolutely amazing on all levels. The pizzas and calzones are comfortably top tier especially for London, they are relatively light and very tasty with a signature texture that it has perfected. Definitely a go to for foodies in need of a pizza. Furthermore, the service is always really kind (and they do speak Italian which is important for Italian customers that don’t often get this luxury often).

Little corner pizza place on Fulham road, near South Kensington. Book in advance as the tables are limited.
The pizza base is really good, different from most places I’ve tried in the area. Really tasty. They have a pretty decent list of pizzas, calzones and starters.
They serve Italian limonata and Italian beers.
Good selection of wines as well.
As dessert I had the croccantini. Clusters of dark chocolate and hazelnuts infused with Rum. Lovely staff. Book in advance for weekend parties.

Even though they change the name form Lievito to Gioia, this is the only thing they changed! Same chef, same staff, same owner and most importantly same amazing and tasty Pizza! Fully approved by an Italian! And I am very picky!

We lived in the area for a short while and would always see this place packed, even on weekdays. Hence we were curious to try it out. And boy we're glad we did! It was the best pizza I've ever eaten. The crust is a sourdough crust and it's beautifully made! We ordered 2 different pizzas, a veg and non-veg, but the Margherita Pizza was the winner😍. I'll definitely come back!!

Excellent pizza especially the Norma. Service is friendly and quick. Unusually they have a fantastic choice of craft beers in addition to good wine selection, which are very tasty. And very well priced for it's location on Fulham High Road and given how good the pizza is. A local favourite I've been to twice and will return to again

Gioia is one of the best authentic Italian pizza places in London. Much better than other famous chains in the business. Don’t waste your time going elsewhere because if you want authentic Italian pizza straight from Italy then this is the place to come to. Pizzas done right.
