Takeaway with a friend who lives locally on a Saturday night. Food was great. Staff were friendly but the place was empty (probably because of COVID).
If you don’t feel comfortable eating in, grab a takeaway. Hopefully you’ll enjoy it as much as we did

New to the area we came to eat in on a recommendation from one of our neighbours. Friendly welcoming staff who made some great recommendations. The Bengal Shobji ( mixed veg) was one of the best we have ever had. Food was freshly prepared - so do be prepared to order from a great range of starters so you can nibble on something tasty while you wait. You won’t get table cloths here but the food is great. Place did not seem busy ( CV driven trade away ) so we were a bit worried about venturing in. However they do a good steady takeaway trade , so popular with the locals

It takes a bit of courage to divert from your usual curry takeaway place, but boy am I glad that I did. Zainab Mahal provided me with an outstanding plate of food. I now have a new curry takeaway place which will require nerves of steel to divert from, if I ever do.
