Cake and custard factory is an ode to joy. I wanted to eat the kind of cake that I used to eat at school. My friend told me to come to this place. I walked in and nostalgia hit my face like nobody's business 🙂 Pinkalocious sprinkle and plain vanilla sponge is a personal favourite of mine. You'll find yours when you enter the house of the cake and custard factory 🙂

Honestly one of the better cake shops in the area. They do a variety of items like waffles, crepes, milkshakes etc. As well as of course cake and custard. I highly recommend the reeses milkshakes, ferrero rocher cakes and their waffles too. Customer service is hit or miss which is the only thing that brings it down a little.

a great little dessert place in East London with so much variety! Reassuring that all cakes on display were kept in the back and air tight sealed for freshness but their display looks amazing - Plenty of choices. We were served quite quickly and dining in meant they brought out dessert to us. Brownies were done perfectly and served with plenty of custard. Overall atmosphere is nice and definitely high traffic through the store and I can understand why! Located closer to Shadwell overground and DLR than any tube station even though the name says Aldgate (otherwise its about a 30min walk from Aldgate station), but a great find in London.
