Might have found my new favourite local spot… came for the name and was pleasantly surprised by the charming and characterful decor, Hungarian pop (?) music & the DELICIOUS and generously portioned food. I had the goulash soup and the cabbage rolls but need to come back to try everything else includ
Our Hungarian friend recommended this place and we were not disappointed, the food was great and the staff was lovely. If you're looking for an authentic Hungarian experience in London, this is your place.
This was excellent, the mixed meat stew, to the stuffed cabbage to the little scones. Really yummy home-cooked food and the lady who both serves and cooks is very friendly. Will return.
Bought some Hungarian goulash for takeaway. The food is full very flavourful! You can tell the chefs know exactly what they are doing. Excellent service and delicious food. Definitely recommend!
Fantastic place, friendly atmosphere and grest food. the mrs had a lovely house wine too! would recommend
Visited for the first time but I'm sure will be back soon. Combines the best from Romanian and hungarian cuisine creating a menu which everyone can enjoy. Beef goulash was delicious, meat, vegetables and beans made into a thick soup, served with sour cream, chilli and bread. Tripe soup also nice, wa
Superb dining experience, traditional Hungarian cuisine. Tried the tripe soup, chicken paprikash, and house chocolate cake, will definitely drop by again the next time I'm in London.
Great authentic Hungarian food. The owner is really friendly and courteous! Definitely recommend!
Great food, low prices. The Sarmale is exactly like Serbian Sarma and particularly delicious. Simple menu. Wholesome tasty food. I’ve become a regular.
Nice and proper traditional Hungarian and Romanian dishes made with premium ingredients. Clean and quiet.
This place is hugely underestimated and underadvertised!!! Big portions and the food is made with love. I am Ukrainian, like to visit this place for such a familiar taste of Eastern European cuisine!
amazing food. home style, great taste, big portions
I have been to quite a few restaurants in Green Lanes and this is by far the best. Food is delicious & good value for money and the staff are warm and welcoming. If you're in this area and feel like something different from over priced taramasalata & donor kebabs then this is the place to come.
Great portion size, delivered piping hot. Everything was made with the freshest ingredients. I am fussy about the above and was not disappointed. This was my first order but will not be the last. Food was so delicious. Thank you. Wish you every success in the coming year. Sara
I keep seeing criticism from some people as the food might me old. I have ordered now 6 times already and I did not have any problems. I don’t know how they doing it, but they doing it right. The soups are just delicious. I become regular now every Sunday. The soup portions are too big if you ask me
