We had a lovely first-time afternoon tea experience at The Langham! The food was delicious, and we we got to try five different kinds of tea with unlimited refills. The ambience is lovely and there was live piano. I would've loved if the setlist included more classical pieces. The highlight of this afternoon was our wonderful waiter, Alam. He took the time to recommend teas based on our taste preferences and explained the flavours of each brew we tried. He was attentive and made sure we were content with all stages of the experience. The extra plate of sandwiches he offered us was the cherry on top! Thank you, Alam :)

My friend and I visited The Good Front Room at The Langham on 18th October when we enjoyed a delicious and innovative Caribbean meal, with a twist. Had it not been for the prior timely intervention of Chef Dom at our previous visit in August, it would not have been possible for us to have had this experience, for which we remain grateful. We would have liked to thank Chef Dom in person having enjoyed our meal but sadly, we were not able to do so, due to the extent of his commitments which, he rightly takes very seriously. We had a memorable evening in beautiful surroundings which we felt was courtesy of not only Chef Dom but also, everyone who played a part, in making this possible. We understand that Chef Dom's tenure is to be extended into the new year and, we look forward to being able to come back again at some point in the future to build on our positive experience.

Fabulous setting, gorgeous food by chef Dom Taylor. £75 for three courses was well worth it. Cocktails were divine especially his rum 🍹 punch if a bit pricey around £19.00. I would go back for the Caribbean inspired excellent food.

My husband & I were visiting from Australia & decided to visit after watching 5 star chef. Entree & mains were outstanding, bursting with flavour. Desert was good, except the only dairy free option was basically just coconut ice cream - be great to have a more creative option available. Service, we didn’t find this to be 5 star - the wait staff could have been more attentive. We ordered a bottle of wine, and we refilled our own glasses , as well as had to flag the staff for water, bill etc. Overall was a nice experience however. We would have loved to meet Chef Dom, but this was not possible due to his workload.

Got to be a 5/5. We came here for a special occasion, as soon as you walk into the hotel you are greeted by the most amazing smell and fresh flowers. The porters are incredibly friendly and direct you to the afternoon tea room. We were given two options of tables and the service was lovely. Table cloth, table ware, the atmosphere were beautiful. You get your own dedicated waiter all the way through your afternoon tea who explains each course. The food was obviously delicious, and we were asked if we wanted another round of sandwiches which was a nice touch. Overall, we were really full by the end of the afternoon tea and had to take one of the deserts home with us. We really enjoyed our visit and had a lovely time. Couple of minor suggestions that I would able to the management: - The takeaway box is really small and our desert unfortunately was very squashed when we got home, that was quite disappointing. A bigger box would fix this issue. - For the price tag I think a refill of tea should be offered.

I watched Dom Taylor in Five Star Kitchen on C4 and was chuffed to bits when he won 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. In my view it would be rude not to experience The Good Front Room in the Palm Court at The Langham. The menu caters for everyone, and the waiting staff make sure of your dietary preferences or allergies are a priority. I am a pescatarian and all I can say is the Sea Bass was emotional. The culinary detail of each of the dishes is outstanding and the flavours were literally Oh My Gosh for each mouthful. And those Plantain and Sweet Potato Chips….. knocked it out of the ball park. I have a love hate relationship with Okra and I have never eaten raw okra 😮 however that slaw is delicious 😋 . The Good Front Room is a wonderful premier dining experience with a menu that makes you need to return to ensure you have tried ALL the dishes. The music playing in the background was excellent. I cannot fault any of the service from reception until we left. The door staff were pleasant and friendly, offered to take our photograph.
