Lovely venue for the performing arts. Was at the Olivier Theatre to see The Father and the Assassin. The play was brilliant but the theatre itself was commendable with its revolving stage.

Went to watch a play on the Oliver stage and wasn't disappointed. I'm a wheelchair user and access is very good. Staff are very helpful and friendly 🙂. All in all a very very good theatre.

Iconic theatre in London. Has a nice bar and the architecture alone is worth a visit. The Effect currently playing is a good reason to take a trip there. Well acted and thought provoking.

Amazing theatre and animated area by the river. Very good organization from the security at the entrance to the theatre staff. We've been there for 'The Effect' play and everything was incredible. Thank you!

We went up to see the matinee performance of Dear England. The play was fantastic and I would thoroughly recommend anyone to go and see it. There was a rail strike on so we drove up, booking a parking spot at the NT for £17. Even after paying the congestion charge it was cheaper than going by train. The reason for only four stars - I thought the cafe was lack-lustre. But that's it - a great day out.

An absolutely beautiful theatre with so much going on. We went for a tour and to see Dear England; I’d highly recommend both. Our tour guide was kind & helpful, and told us about the histories of the theatres, which we got to tour, while taking us backstage. Additionally, Dear England was a really engaging show and was performed in the Olivier theatre, which has no bad seat.

If you're around London or planning to visit London, June might be the best time. The weather is pretty good most of the time, and the summer vibe is perfect with all festivals, concerts, open plans, pubs, and gardens. Southbank / National Theatre festival is one of the good open/public festivals in London. There are so many streets and alleys in Southbank, front of the National Theatre, and The Scoop turns as open plan clubs, so as you walk around, there you can see the DJ desks, different type of live music band's gigs. Especially in front of the National Theatre, there are so many nice parties between June-July. Don't miss it, and have fun 😉

Had an absolutely splendid time visiting the National Theatre to see The Crucible by Arthur Miller. The architecture of the building is very interesting inside and out. The stage for the play is one of the most beautiful set ups I had ever seen and an added bonus is that there's a great selection of books in the gift store. One of my new favourite places to visit in London.
