Brought some of my non vegan friends here after I was recommended it. They were a bit reluctant at first reading the menu but once the food came they couldn’t stop talking about how great it was! I have been back since with my boyfriend who was also really impressed. Will be back soon!

I was shocked at how good the food was. An avid meat eater and usually avoid all things vegan, I cannot fault anything. Burger stood up to meat in my view - tasted phenomenal. The PB&J shake was great too. Could take or leave the burger fries we got, but the burger 👌

A wonderful vegan burger joint located right on Brick Lane, a hot spot for the cool kids for decades. I enjoyed a delicious burger, the Simplicity Hot, together with delicious Salt and Pepper Fries which are a spiced up version of the classic. And a Simplicity IPA to wash it down. Speedy, healthy, delicious

Good enough to satisfy any meat eaters burger cravings! What I loved the most is the fact the patty isn't some awful frozen bean burger concoction and real consideration has been taken to create delicious and inventive sides. (The salt and pepper fries!!!! SO GOOD). The drinks menu is also really cool, loved the soft and "hard" options, was amazed to see a michelada on the menu as well as sake! I loved the PBJ milkshake.

I am not vegan and do not intend to be, so going to this restaurant I had very low expectations. This was the best burger I have ever had no doubt. I would not be able to tell the difference between their vegan burger and a beef burger. Before going I looked down on vegans as I was fooled by the misconception that vegan food is bland and boring but this was the absolute opposite. I haven't even mentioned the salt and pepper chips either (which were excellent). Outstanding food. One criticism I would have is the small range of soft drinks selection, I only tried the Homemade Cola and it was not very nice. Some other people I was with did like it so it might just be me but more of a selection would have solved this.

I have followed the Simplicity Burger story since its conception in the states so when I heard it was coming over to the UK i was very excited to try it...When i heard Neil Rankin was involved I was over the edge excited as my love for Temper knows no bounds. This place DID NOT DISAPPOINT, just try it. The fries and nachos as you'd expect where great but the "cheese" toppings and everything were mind blowing. The burger was great with a depth of flavour from the umami leaving a pleasant taste in the mouth. Will return

Buzzy vibe in this cosy vegan burger joint, and the food is great featuring fermented veg in their burgers and their vegan cheeze

A brilliant simple burger place, plus love that they consider sustainability in all things! Amazed by the window display of fermenting jars filled with veg and tomatoes. The Asian style salad turned out to be better than expected, everything was so flavoursome. Happy to come back again soon!

Excellent The vegetarian burger was excellent! In fact better than most beef burgers. If only Vegan cheese was better... Fries were also excellent. Definitely worth going. Lovely service too and the chefs are very cool

I came here for a birthday meal with my meat-eating family on Saturday and we demolished our delicious food within minutes! Great service, lovely atmosphere and outstanding food. My younger brother who typically turns his nose up to vegan food said this was one of the best burgers he had ever eaten. The salt and pepper fries and cheeseburger were the standouts!
