This cafe brings a great idea to our community. By drinking coffee you also help ex-offenders make their own livings. They make great coffee and also serve tea and have packaged coffee beans for sale. I like the environment too. It’s relaxing and not pretentious. I went in a Thursday afternoon, it was very quiet.

Stumbled across this place today and am so glad I stopped. They say it’s all in a name and this relaxed and friendly coffee joint has a great backstory (see my photos) Essentially coffee roasted behind bars by young offenders who are then trained and given a way to re-shape their future. Regardless of that - the coffee is smooth, tasty and well presented. They sell beans to go and also offer some tasty looking cakes and brunch items. If you’re in the area - pop in and support this place. Your conscience will thank you and your tastebuds too 😊

The coffee shop we needed in the area. If you are tired of the classic coffee chains and you want to have a good coffee, this is the right place for you. Staff is very nice and helpful and the experience is great. I cannot see a best way to start your long working day. It can get busy very quickly, so the best is to be there at 8am

This is a really good coffee shop. The coffee they serve is excellent, but they also sell beans, and they are also excellent. The decaffeinated beans are my favourite, and they taste better than most caffeinated beans you can buy from anywhere. Highly recommended!

Good coffee, not too sour. I only have the use of one arm due to injury and they didn't have bags to fit a 4 pot tray so had to use two bags with 2 pot trays. The guy didn't know what to do I had to ask him to get things but it's not often you serve someone with one arm asking for more than 2 drinks!

Really nice independent coffee shop. Good coffee and pastries. Probably only three tables and a window bar area so seats very few but definitely a good option over the chain coffee shops surrounding it. A proportion of proceeds go to the rehabilitation or offenders to reduce reoffending, which is worthwhile in my opinion.

Perfect place for your Saturday morning hangover cure. Calm, clean, cool and - above all - very delicious brunch options. Toasted pastrami and filtered coffee brought me back to life here.
