This place was busy, tables packed right outside and low on staff at first but the service was excellent and the menu adventurous. Choose carefully. We basically put together a few side dishes and had a real good meal. Included 🥒 cucumber, chilli and 🥜 peanuts all in one it was great. Highly recommended and although it looks dear, it isn’t. We had our wedding reception here and I cannot fault Sam and the team at the Duke of Wellington. The food was all served within good time especially considering there were 28 people to serve! And it tasted delicious too. We were able to use the function room upstairs for our party and we even had a singer guitarist in the space. We would definitely recommend this as a relaxed yet slick wedding reception venue!

We recently hosted our wedding reception at the Duke of Wellington and it was absolutely perfect! The food was amazing, the drinks were flowing and the vibe was just what we wanted for our reception. Sam and the team went above and beyond in helping us with all our specific requests and everyone had the most amazing time! Definitely recommend visiting this pub!
