Lissome Italian Restaurant

Popped in for a quick lunch with the family (incl. 2 young children). The service was adapted to suit the family - quick, and the waiter understood the children wouldn’t want large portions so when we asked to have the children share a pizza margherita, we were pleasantly surprised to have a children’s pizza split in two (as opposed to wasting food and money on a sharing a full sized one). Adult mains were fantastic - freshly cooked pasta cooked to perfection. Delicious tiramisu to finish. Would definitely recommend for a family, and will return.

My wife and I had dinner at Lissome this evening. The pizza and service was amazing. However we did not quite like our other dish. The chef came to our table and sincerely requested feedback which we provided. He accepted our feedback graciously and insisted on removing the dish from our bill. This despite me saying it was fine to charge us. This person demonstrates a passion for serving good food and pleasing his customers. The restaurant is great. If you looking for good food and a great dining experience, I would highly recommend this place. Also good to know that you will be supporting people who are passionate and sincere.

Visited Lissome and really enjoyed the food. Couldn’t enjoy everything we wanted on the menus due to a shortage of ingredients but the manager was apologetic. For this reason and the cocktail not being a full glass I have deducted one star. Cute date night spot especially on a Sunday as it was not overly busy but the atmosphere was romantic.

Quite nice restaurant. Good food. I had Bruschetta for starter which I found a little bit more salty and garlicky than I expected. Pasta was rather flavoursome. Quite busy and inclusive in terms of clientele. Reasonable prices (££-£££). Had a strawberry flavoured cocktail which was lovely. After the starter and the main, I was too full-up to try any deserts but that’s on the list to do for next time. Toilets were clean and tidy. I think the waitress who served us was a little bit too young and inexperienced but effective. Overall, it was a positive experience and I’d recommend this restaurant for a meal to my local fellows in Dalston.
