Bar 161 had great tasting drinks, which were brought to our table promptly, with water and chip refreshments which were actively switched out when we were low. The staff were super attentive, bringing us blankets when we went out to smoke, and the bar had a nice peaceful vibe. The bartenders also did a cheeky stretch of the happy hour cocktail deal for us which was great!
I booked Bar 161 for my birthday party and couldn’t have been happier with the choice. Owner and staff were extremely helpful and the cocktails were fantastic. Several guests commented how much they liked the bar and how well I’d done finding it! Highly recommend this hidden gem.
Probably one of the best cocktail makers in London with an added happy hour is a winning combination! Very welcoming barman, nice atmosphere. This place is a seemingly undiscovered gem!
This bar is amazing! The staff are so lovely and welcoming, service is amazing and the cocktails taste amazing! Not sure what her name is but the lady who hosts is so warm and welcoming. Tonight is our second time coming to this bar and we will definitely be back :)

Bar 161 is a hidden gem in Hackney! The owner Fatih makes you feel at home and serves great cocktails! Lovely place for karaoke and a fun night out. Don’t miss it!

Really great addition to the neighbourhood. Fantastic cocktails, lovely staff, nice decor, and… crucially for Hackney… dog friendly, unlike their near neighbour!
