The "Old Timer Fisherman's Stew" is very delicious and comforting. As an Asian it's difficult to find a lot of dishes broth- or stew-base here, and I am so happy to just passed by this restaurant and gave it a try. The lager draught tastes very nice too. I think I will come back even I am not living in this neighbourhood in future (just arrived and will stay for 3 nights only, but I would/should come back for the food and beer!!)

A really lovely casual and chilled out place to eat or just to have drinks. Everything I've tried here so far has been really good and great value, and the beer garden out the front is a nice addition. It's never too busy which is a shame as it deserves to be more popular than it is! Highly recommended.

My family had a lovely Sunday lunch at Last Outpost. The food was very tasty, vegetables still had 'bite' and there were generous portions. For Sunday Lunch there was a choice of chicken, beef, lamb or vegan and a range of dessert, as well as the al la carte menu. The only thing that could have been improved was the Yorkshire pudding (a little small and not very dramatic!) - try Gordon Ramsay's recipe, it works every time. The prices were very reasonable, and the staff friendly and attentive. This restaurant is in an unassuming location on Hither Green Lane, but is worth making the trip.
