The food here is really good, particularly the pad krapow which almost beats some of those I had in Thailand. Laab can be hard to find in London and was also very good, as was the lamb massaman. Prices are a little extreme but not out of line with other Thai restaurants in the area.
Great place and outrageously good food. Service and atmosphere was also brilliant. Highly recommend. The Panang curry was my favourite. Will definitely be back here. Thank you Burning Rose

I tried many restaurants here in London that serves Pad Thai but for me, Burning Rose is the best. The balance of many flavors in one dish- spicy, sweet, sour, salty and bitter is unbelievable. The very reason, this place became my go to place and my friends too. And Lovely service as well.
We were recommended Burning Rose by our friends and it did not disappoint! We stumbled in quite late on a Thursday evening and were offered the ‘chef’s table’. (Bar seats up by the kitchen). Ordinarily this wouldn’t be my favourite place to sit but our experience here changed my mind. The service was excellent - our waiter gave us perfect recommendations and made the most delicious cocktails. We then enjoyed a fabulous meal with the chef and owner serving and explaining each dish to us - all of which were delicious. I’d definitely recommend the chicken wings, the laab and the pad Thai but everything was amazing. 100% the best Thai food I’ve eaten in London - I’m already excited to go back!

What a delightful experience! The front of house staff were all very friendly and genuinely enthusiastic, which I think is what happens when you serve food to customers you know is tasty. The food was absolutely delicious and left us very full. Great levels of spice throughout and you can tell the food was fresh with great ingredients. Open kitchen is always a great sign, and it meant I could actually give my compliments to the chef. Great addition to the Balham area and I have no doubts we'll be back!
The food and service were amazing, the best Thai I've had in a while. The only downside was that it was a bit quiet in the restaurant on the Sunday evening that we went, so it was lacking a bit of atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit though, we'll be going back.
Stopped by for a birthday celebration meal. Was warmly greeted by everyone when we arrived even the chefs felt like coming home.
Claire was our waitress and she was attentive and really good with toddler! She explained the menu further to help make the best decision.
Highlights for me the Miang of prawns which was first time I had something like that flavour explosion and the panaeng beef curry wow so tender and flavoursome loved it !
The head chef was a sweetie and gave toddler special treat which was lovely thank you !
Been here 3 times now and it’s 10/10 every single time! The staff are attentive and friendly, the food is immense (the best pad Thai I’ve ever had), and great atmosphere inside - kudos to whoever puts the music playlist on, love it. Definitely one of my favourites in Balham. A trust worthy meal every time!
