Top quality meat and service. You have to try the tomahawk burger: the steak was perfectly cooked and you pay half the price for the amount of meat compared to other steakhouses in London. Chicken burgers are also amazing and the chopped chicken and chips side is one of the best ideas I have tasted for a side dish. Shane, who runs the canteen, was super polite and accommodating, and made the experience even better.

One of the best burgers I’ve had in ages! Tasty, pink on the inside, juicy … spot on. And lovely location to sit in the garden with a great drink from the bar. Tops.

This place is a hidden diamond! It’s all about the tomahawk burger which was cooked to perfection, I’ve never had anything like it! The two guys running the place were super friendly. I have no idea why someone posted that it wasn’t there, really easy to find under the bridge and the garden area is the perfect place to the wildest burger you’ll have in life. Go try it!

Honestly everyone likes a burger right? And everyone dislikes it when something is overhyped? Well...I saw all the 5* reviews and thought yeah...probably a few generous reviews in there but whatever I'll give it try and when I did...well...to my actual surprise... This was probably the best burger I've had in the last few years, and believe me, I HATE rating something so highly but I dunno what it was, maybe I was just extra hungry but the food was absolutely excellent. Well cooked, juicy but not sloppy, great flavour, fair portion size of chips that were tasty as well, the atmosphere of the surroundings was friendly and lively roughly 7.30pm and the two guys making the food, I'm assuming the owners, were friendly, funny and just came across as great guys passionate about food. I will 110% be coming back here for a bite to eat when I'm in the Shoreditch area again so to the two guys that made the 🍔 and chips you did a fantastic job and you have a very happy customer here!

Randomly rolled into this bar after an afternoon of drinking and it was a fantastic little find. The outside was so well decorated and the food was incredible. Would definitely go back if we were in the area.

Couldn't fault it. Friendly team at the bar and the food truck, and really creative selection of burgers. Everything carefully cooked and the music was the best topping of all 👍

This American was in Shoreditch a few days, and on a lazy afternoon, my girlfriend and I found ourselves craving a solid burger. We took to the internet to do our due diligence and came across Burgers and Beats—reviews were overwhelmingly positive, and we decided to give it a go. Little did we know, the experience would outshine even the best reviews. We each got a smashed double cheese, and a side of "not your basic" loaded chips to share. The meat was cooked to perfection, and the combination of smoked Bacon, caramelised onions, and burger sauce took it over the top. The chips were the perfect pairing. Shane, who prepared our meal, is not a culinary powerhouse, but a great guy as well—his hospitality and willingness to speak with us and to provide recommendations on what to do in Shoreditch the rest of our evening went above and beyond. Thanks for a great experience, Shane/Burgers and Beats. We will undoubtedly go out of our way to see you again next time we find ourselves across the pond.

Excellent food. Best burger I've had in London. Cool atmosphere. Incredibly friendly and eager to serve staff. I'm a little shocked the quality of this food for the price. Excellent value. Only suggestion: bigger napkins :)
