The Deptford Bus

Recently I was on holiday in the Mediterranean and had that amazing holiday feeling, you know the one which you can't put your finger on, that which banishes any bad thoughts or insecurity, well you know that amazing feeling was captured at the Deptford Bus. Fantastic service from Grace and the man who I think was the manager, they were both very personable and quick with our food and drink. Pizza absolutely fantastic, perfectly done with a fantastic thin base and fresh basil. Pints of estrella ice cold and banished any thirst which was dominating all corners of my soul when I entered the location. As for the selection of cocktails- need I elaborate? Surely not. It is summer, summer in a nutshell you know, any of the cocktails here in this lovely courtyard will give you that undeniably Mediterranean feeling. And I'm sure you will make a friend in your serving staff. In summary; great location, prices, staff, drinks, food, atmosphere, feel, vibe, and incredible Mediterranean environment. I hope if you have read this far in this review you are as serious as I in my quest to discern the Perfect Pub. Good night.

Don't be tricked into thinking the tables on the pavement outside this place are part of it - turns out they belong to the pub next door! Go through the bus - you won't be disappointed! So much space, very colourful and welcoming and the outside is handily sheltered which stopped us getting soaked in the downpour. Pizza was DELICIOUS and the cocktails were just the trick. Highly recommend!
