Afternoon tea at the Milestone was such a delight! The staff made me feel like royalty and were very knowledgeable about the Kensington area and history of the hotel. The food was lovely and the Inverse tea was perfect. I was even served complimentary champagne! The experience was wonderful, but it was rather expensive. So if you’re looking for a fancy afternoon tea and willing to splurge a little, I would highly recommend The Milestone Hotel!

The Milestone Hotel is a luxurious five-star hotel located in the heart of Kensington, and their Afternoon Tea is a must-try for anyone looking for a quintessentially British experience. The hotel's elegant and sophisticated atmosphere, combined with its impeccable service, made for an unforgettable experience. As I was seated at my table, I was presented with an extensive tea menu, featuring a wide selection of teas from around the world. I decided to go for the traditional English Breakfast tea to accompany my food. The food arrived shortly after presented beautifully on a tiered stand. The bottom tier featured a variety of sandwiches, including cucumber & cream cheese, smoked salmon & dill, egg mayonnaise & cress and their signature (my fav) chicken mayonnaise and toasted almonds. Each sandwich was freshly made and tasted delicious. On the top tier was an array of sweet treats, including a selection of cakes and pastries. My favourites were the hazelnut creme choux pastry and the toffee apple tart, both of which were beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Finally, I was presented with warm, freshly baked scones, served with clotted cream and homemade strawberry jam. The scones were perfectly baked, with a crispy exterior and a soft and fluffy interior. Throughout my meal, the service was exceptional. The staff were attentive, polite and knowledgeable, and made me feel very welcome. Overall, the Afternoon Tea at Milestone Hotel was a truly wonderful experience. The food was delicious, the tea was perfect, and the service was outstanding. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a Halal British Afternoon Tea experience. Big thank you to Dorina for her excellent service throughout our experience.

Booked the Conservatory for a bridal shower and had afternoon tea. The Food and beverages manager - Leo was very accomodating to the requests made and very helpful during the booking process. The Afternoon tea was very scrumptious, tasty and very filling. The room had a airy modern feel to it which fit the mood and was perfect for 13 of us and a baby. The staff were all very helpful and attentive to our needs - including giving us space to change before the event and also allowing us to stay slightly longer. It was a brilliant experience and great service all round!

A very cozy place. Service of the staff was amazing. Tea, pastries and scones tasted delicious. Appreciated that the hotel accepted single bookings for one person since I was alone on a business trip. Will definitely come back here.

Afternoon tea at The Milestone Hotel was exactly what we wanted and was a great experience. On our trip to London we wanted a cozy spot for tea versus a large room full of tables. The Milestone has about 8-10 settings in a historic building where service was top notch and food was terrific. There was a good selection of tea and very helpful staff provided a great experience.

Had the most divine dining experience here recently. The service was impeccable, the food was exceptional, and totally loved the old world atmosphere and very tasteful decor. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a fancy dinner spot for a luxurious treat.

Sandwiches were ok, not amazing. The scone was delicious. Service is good. It's a quiet/cozy atmosphere, really lovely for a nice afternoon tea. For the actual afternoon tea food, a few other places were better such as the May Fair Hotel (sandwiches and sweets were far better) and Dorchester.

Came here for the first time to celebrate my wife's birthday with our 11-month-old and it was a wonderful experience. The afternoon tea room was nicely decorated, like an old library and it was well looked after, nice and clean. The wait staff were kind and patient and looked after us throughout. They answered any of our questions regarding the teas and the menu (we had the Vegan one) and they even answered historical questions about the hotel itself! The food came out promptly and so did each refill of sandwiches and tea. The food itself (vegan menu) was delicious. 5 different types of sandwiches which I wouldn't have ever thought of (except vegan cheddar and tomato which is pretty normal) and the cakes were amazing too, I think 5 different types. The only issue is that they waited for after the cakes and sandwiches to bring out the scones which are my favourite, but by the time they came out, we were pretty full and couldn't have any! They had a high chair for the baby and she just had little bits of our sandwiches and she enjoyed herself. They have colouring books and crayons which she's too young for, but a nice touch. They don't have baby-changing facilities which is weird, but they put me up in a large bathroom in the spa where I made do. After our meal was done, we asked if we can walk around the hotel just to sightsee, and they got the hotel manager to give us a tour of the master suite and the spa which was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend it and come again.
