Stopped off at Bao for a spot of lunch with a friend. The service was excellent with the menu well explained. The Bao was as light as a cloud and the short rib equally as soft. The rice, sauced by an egg was devine. The hot man margarita was sensational and paired the food well. Overall a great experience with the set menu for £15 being excellent value.

They were so busy during the lunch time but the atmosphere and place was big and nice. It was easy to order by marking. I got 15p deal for lunch- fried chicken, daiokon bao, eggplant rice. The fried chicken was so good but the rice was not that delicious. In general, it was good.

Came here for dinner and the staff was lovely, service was wonderful. The tofu balls with rice are amazing, my favourite dish by far. I also really enjoyed the glazed aubergine. I think you could get a lot more creative with vegan options and bao buns. Daikon bun was a bit bland. I added some of the noodle chips and the extra flavour and texture made a big difference. Tofu, other vegetables and sauces - there are endless options for vegan dishes. Please make it better! A bit pricey but worth it! Would come again just for those tofu balls.

Cute little restaurant with private dining room on the floor above. The staff is very friendly and helpful especially with the menu if you are not familiar with the dishes. The food is great and tasty. Some of dishes are highlighted as spicy but, personally, they are not that much. It is a very well balance spices that compliments the food fairly. They also have a rewards app -BAO- which allows you to get discount on the next meal (download it). It was an amazing experience that I vividly recommend.

Love atmosphere inside, menu has a nice range of options without feeling overwhelming. We went for the set weekday menu for £15. Plus some optionals extras like the beef nuggets.

Absolutely delicious food, not a huge menu but a lot of variety between dishes. The maple fries are HEAVENLY. Busy but lends to the atmosphere, picked this location as it had more tables rather that the bar seats which seem more common at other locations. Staff were all very lovely and helpful.

Thank you for a wonderful eating experience with your friendly, helpful and accommodating staff. Food was tasty and yummy too though on the smaller portion, with a good pace service! Overall a lovely place for a meal...

Reserved a table for my friend’s birthday and indicated that it was her birthday online - they gave her an adorable birthday card when she arrived! Food wise, everything was good, but the portions were really tiny. It’s probably better to visit for a snack or perhaps for people with a smaller appetite. We also had to wait really long for our drinks despite checking in with the servers multiple times. The drinks only arrived at the very end of the meal, after all of the food had been served and eaten.

Absolutely lovely place, with classic Taiwanese burger, and amazingly comfy decoration. Dining in here was overall a great experience. We hadn't booked a table as we only decided to go in after walking past it yet we were able to be seated by the window. The food itself was extremely incredible. Every bite was heavenly and although this restaurant is a bit pricey it's worth every penny! But the service I gotta subtract one star, normally the Taiwanese restaurant will take the initiative to ask guests if there is a taboo, my friend doesn’t like to eat coriander, but they are not particularly asked. We also asked the staff if there were any recommended foods, there were not many responses. 😮‍💨

A great experience! Although the menu has limited veg options, the staff is fantastic! I asked for non spicy sauces so the server brought out a bit of sauce for me to taste so I could confirm it wasn't too spicy! The food was fantastic. The aubergine fritters were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and the accompanying sauce was an excellent complement. The tofu rice was again excellent and the batter in which the tofu was fried was really good! The daikon bao was not that great, a bit dry but went well with the sauce that came with the fritters! The pineapple cake with cream was an excellent ending. The cake was a bit crumbly but the pineapple base was excellent although could have done without the caramel sauce.
