Lokanta Bar And Grill (greenwich)

I don't know how to start... I'll say it directly... exceptional. from the service to the food and to the atmosphere in the restaurant. the waiters with class, the place arranged with passion and the food made with taste. congratulations Lokanta Greenwich. as a turkish, i didn't expect to find such a good soup in england exactly like in istanbul. excellent bravo! I will come tomorrow to try the other dishes too!

We have been twice so far and it has been delicious each time. Great food, friendly and attentive service and nice and clean restaurant. It is not the cheapest Turkish restaurant if you want to share some of the popular meals like the platter and have 1-2 starters (we always pay a bit above 100£ for two people without alcohol) but that’s Greenwich for you. Definitely worth the price though based on the food quality.

Lokanta is a really popular place so on Saturdays it’s quite packed and squashed. However if you sit in the garden area it’s much nicer and spacious. It has a roof and heating so it’s not cold. We got free bread and hummus and various other dips on the house which was nice. I ordered the platter for 2 and it was a really filling, good value for money. I ordered the virgin mojito but it was so sour. The Turkish tea was really nice. If you ask for a pot you get extra tea than if you buy a glass so better value for money. Good halal restaurant, street parking and pretty place. Spent £80 for two people which is a good price. Definitely recommend.

We had a lovely time at Lokanta, the food was excellent. I had the sirloin steak with prawns and peppercorn sauce and it was amazing. To finish, we had the baklava, the combo with the ice cream was delicious. The service was great, everyone was very friendly and we enjoyed sitting in the garden terrace. Highly recommend 😊
