Brilliant live jazz restaurant and bar. I arrived for my parents anniversary and Raymond went above and beyond with his level of service. We came on a Tuesday which was quieter and very relaxed. I would recommend checking out the upcoming acts each day to find something you like.
The food was amazing and full of flavour. In particular I enjoyed the tuna which was cooked to perfection. The pianist was excellent and even let us a pick a few songs for him to play.
I will definitely be returning soon!

My partner booked us a table for my birthday on 5th of July.
We arrived by mistake at the restaurant, but the staff were very kind to point us to the right location, which is literally around the corner.
Once we got inside the right location, the atmosphere changed to a very cozy and relaxing one.
As we made our way through the table area, Raymond offered us a very warm welcome and invited us to our table, which was in the second row from the stage.
Once we decided what we wanted to eat, we placed our orders as the guitarist for the night was performing the setup on his guitar.
The food was delicious and came very promptly. Raymond and his colleagues were always walking among the tables, performed regular check-backs on us and topped our water every time we were running low.
The jazz was also very nice, with a calm atmosphere, which I very much enjoyed.
This is amongst the best customer service experiences I've had in London, absolutely nothing bad to say about them, bravo and 5 stars! 👏 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
25-50 By Night had such an amazing atmosphere. Lovely date night vibes. The dim lighting and the great wine options really give you the feel of a fancy night out. Even though the restaurant was quite empty on Wednesday evening, the atmosphere was lovely and the whole evening felt very intimate. The performers on the night were fantastic and really made the evening. The food was very good, particularly the starters. We had the prawn and oysters and the sauces on them were very yummy. We had steaks for our main and asked for medium rare, however these were on the well done side which was slightly disappointing but everything else was so lovely about the evening. The staff were very attentive and overall great place to go to.
We stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant over a year ago and we were pleasantly surprised. Awesome cuisine, service and entertainment. I will definitely be returning when I’m in London. I highly recommended!!
Excellent food, very friendly (and quick!) service and great music that adds to the atmosphere.
Starters: a half dozen oysters. Very fresh, came with a delicious sauce. Absolutely sublime.
I ordered half a dozen but wished I ordered more!
Main: Rib Eye steak. I am going to make a bold claim that the steak I had here was better than Gaucho’s. An extremely pleasant surprise! The steak was cooked to perfection, the chips were very crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Peppercorn sauce was sublime.
Still awaiting dessert but the food, service and music has been so good I had to leave a review.
Truly a hidden gem and I highly recommend this to anyone look for an evening of fantastic food and incredible music!
Had a lovely weekday night here for my partner's birthday. Seats were around 20% populated which was perfect. Intimate and not overcrowded. Wonderfully talented and soothing singer came on stage on time and did 2 sets! Meal was adequate not amazing but good enough for the experience and waiters/waitresses were attentive. We got an amazing deal with our meal so all in all was a lovely birthday treat for my partner who liked the "speakeasy" vibes. It was quite romantic and not busy on a week day night so I recommend going on those days if you hate the mad crowds of London. Would definitely come back!

I love this place! I go there after work on a Friday night or when I'm in central during the late hours. Whether it’s quiet or really busy; I get the vibes I come for.
Welcomed by lovely staff and live, upbeat jazz music, evoking a cheerful & positive atmosphere. I find myself here tasting many cocktails, wines & dishes. My tastebuds have expanded and for that reason, I love this place!
I loved how my birthday was made special by everyone at the restaurant😆.

Enjoyed a fabulous birthday night last week at By Night! Tam the bartender was brilliant and creative in his mocktail recommendations, and we enjoyed a few each. Nadia took good care of us throughout the night and made the celebration feel so special. Thank you to both! Special recommendation for the vegetarian Tomato main dish and the goat cheese starter! Thank you again.
Absolutely loved the evening. It was quiet being a Wednesday, but service, food and entertainment couldn't be faulted.
