Dunns Bakery Muswell Hill

Best bakery, be sure to try their chocolate and custard or almond croissants! They also offer great sandwiches/rolls for breakfast/lunch, priced lower that the average cafe on the high street, made with delicious fresh bread. A few vegan and lots of vegetarian options, but cannot cater to coeliacs/those with nut allergies sadly.

If I could give Dunn's 10 stars I would. Not only are they an amazing local bakery with delicious tasty treats, their customer service is next level. My daughter has type 1 diabetes and they make things so easy for us! They have the carbohydrate ratios on almost all of their baked goods and if they don't have it, you can email and ask them!!! We recently emailed them to get the ratio for mince tarts and they got back to us within three hours. I almost cried with tears of gratitude. Thank you for making it so easy for our daughter to feel so normal!

This is the best bakery in London. I can't recommend it more. Beautiful cakes, confections and breads. They have a little sandwich counter where you can build your own, really fresh ingredients and prices I haven't seen since the 90s, like £2.50 for a huge tuna roll with all the toppings. The service is always friendly and efficient

I'd been meaning to visit Dunns in Hornsey for ages. Some reviews warned that this very old bakery was better in the old days. I saw this branch in Muswell Hill. Very smart, very on trend but not as expensive as some smart sourdough bakeries. The value for money was tremendous. I guess the product range probably has evolved over time - but it is now very attractive. Will definitely return.
