Oh, how I miss Amiga! This quaint little restaurant was right across the street from our Airbnb and due to positive reviews, we decided to give it a whirl. It turned out to be one of the best food experiences on the trip! We were one of the few dinner reservations, which was nice because we were able to talk throughout our meal and have nice chats with staff. The bartender, Edgar, was phenomenal in crafting our drinks and kept the bar open just a bit longer so we could order some last happy hour drinks. Our server, Era, was a gem and was lovely throughout the entire visit. I let her know about my gluten allergy and she simply smiled and said "We are a gluten free kitchen". What a great feeling that was! We ordered the pork and mushroom quesadillas (who knew corn tortilla quesadillas were so tasty!) with birria sauce that was so flavorful. We ordered several cocktails and took advantage of their happy hour (every day 10 - 11 pm). I really wish we had time to visit Amiga again but will certainly try to come back for the quesadillas when I return to the UK.

We stepped in for a bite to eat after a flight home. The owner was on hand to greet us and we got chatted about tequila. Very knowledgable and we tasted a tequila and another Mexican drink. For food we had the nachos to share and then we tried the beef and chicken tacos. Food was great hospitality was great . We will certainly be back! Thanks

The staff were very accommodating and were helpful and willing. Food was ok but portions are small for what you pay. Quality and range is fine. Atmosphere is very relaxed and chilled! Good for margaritas but £10 is excessive. Overall is a good place ( great lounge/ sitting area right at the back but they could improve on portions and price together. Good little Mexican / Cuban feel !

Nice new restaurant in Clapham. The tacos are great, particular the fish tacos. The service is very good, couldn't fault it. It feels like the restaurant is still feeling things out tho, like some of the menu I felt was particularly overpriced e.g. Cheese Quesadilla at £7 is way too much. The restaurant at the back is too dark and the aircon is right on top of the tables at the back making it really uncomfortable. These are things that can be fixed tho and Amiga will be an awesome addition to Clapham.

My friend and I stumbled on Amiga for a quiet drink on a Tuesday night. Our hostess was warm and welcoming and so was the owner. When the owner overheard that we enjoyed a good Tequila, he came over and gave us a master class in Tequila, Mescal, and shared a lot about his time travelling around Mexico. It was a such a fantastic and authentic experience, that we ended up staying for dinner. We tasted many excellent Tequilas, Mezcals, and cocktails. The barman was good fun and makes brilliant cocktails. I highly recommend the Amiga Old Fashioned, the spicy El Cartel, Senõrita Margarita, and Tequila Overslept Sunrise. We ate Nachos, Barbacoa Beef Tacos and some Quesadillas. The waitress was warm and friendly (and as delicious as the tasty food she served us). A Great overall atmosphere and experience. We look forward to returning to this place soon.

Lovely little place. All of the food was absolutely delicious as are the frozen cocktails. Highly recommend the Margarita and the Churros to finish. Impeccable service.

The food was absolutely delicious (and plenty of gluten free options!), but the service was a little strange. The waitress serving us gave the impression that she wasn't keen on us, or maybe didn't want to be there.

Wish the menu shouted louder about being gluten-free. As a coeliac, I was naturally nervous and was asking our server questions about the cooking process etc. He said that the entire menu was gluten-free, but on the menu itself it only metions that the tacos are gluten-free. I thankfully was not glutened after having the guacamole, barbacoa beef, and prawn taco (not on the menu online but on the menu in the restaurant), so I wish they shouted louder about being genuinely gluten-free to make coeliacs feel safer.

My friends and I came here last night for dinner. We shared the nachos and then each tried the pork, chicken and fish tacos. Really tasty food and the frozen peach margarita was yummy too!

Nice atmosphere in there and good service. I would say the food is a little on the steep side though and didn’t blow our world away with flavour. It was all just alright. Would go back for a drink and some nibbles but probably not a full meal
