The Hungry Tummy - London - Photo album

We have been regular customers way before they got their alcohol license. I feel so sad that they had to change their menu to cope with the demand of the area. I really like their cooked meals like the goulash soup, chicken paprikas, beef stew and the chimney cakes. Langos is good too, I mean they h
Really good dishes at amazing prices. It was my first time having Hungarian food though. Goulash - 5 stars Hearty, savoury beef stew that wasn't too salty. Big portion and perfect for a cool night. Fried shrimp white langos - 4 stars Good garlicky base. Eat quickly while still hot. Pork stew with
A charming eatery with delicious Hungarian brunch/lunch/dinner foods, coffees/teas & sweets. Open from 11am, I tried them at brunch yesterday and for dinner today. Delicious both times! For brunch I tried the sweet fried Hungarian style french toast, which was crunchy on the outside, sweet on the i
Loving The Hungry Tummy! I would always order again, the food was very nice and the team is so kind and helping. I organized a food delivery for my partner's birthday (he is Hungarian), so wanted to get authentic food. The Hungry Tummy team not only made it work to deliver to our place, but also eve
Stumbled upon this unexpected eatery serving Hungarian and other Eastern European dishes. Such a nice surprise in central London to be able to find such hearty food. Got the langos and took away some homemade dessert for later. Very friendly service too. Will definitely be back to try their other di
Fond memories of their Catfish curry special months ago, today I had their special too - sweet green peas in a milk stew with lightly grilled, smoky frankfurter sausages. Really unusual but apparently a classic.
I found this little gem by chance and I will definitely come back to try more dishes as I only had goulash soup which was delicious! I also love the way it was served in a white and blue enamel plate. Sziasztok!
A lovely little place with an immensity of excellent made Hungarian food Highly recommended!
Cosy little place reminiscent of Budapest. Hungarian dumplings (noodles) didn’t disappoint. I’d ask for extra cucumber salad if I was going back - so well seasoned and beautifully pickly. Definitely recommend sitting outside in the cold air for a hearty Hungarian experience.
Step into Hungarian flavours and atmosphere in this lovely place! Feels like home! Authentic Hungarian dishes, made with love and care. The food was super delicious and the service we received was amazing! We had lángos and langalló and took away some homemade dessert. Wish we could live closer, but
Lovely restaurant, friendly staff and great food. Looking forward to going back.
Authentic hungarian food in a take away or dine in. Note very limited seating for dinning in. Hungarian products to sell for home cooking.
Hungarian food is hard to come by in the US so I was thrilled when I found Hungry Tummy during our trip to london. Langos for $4-$5 (depending on toppings…get the garlic, cheese and sour cream for sure). Simply delicious. They also have daily specials and other menu staples.
Ordered for delivery and had a faultless experience. This restaurant is a bit further from me than the places I usually order from but my food was still warm when it arrived, which was great. Incredible dishes which came in generous portions and the special instructions I provided were also consider
A visit to Budapest a few years ago it was really nice to find a Hungarian place local. It’s a comprehensive menu and food was really tasty and good quality. Don’t let the name out you off, it’s very, very good
Superb! Great portion size, everything homemade and delicious! My new favourite place! The service is always fantastic! I can’t wait to try everything from the menu 😁
I've visited this The Hungry Tummy today! I was so happy to see there is a new Hungarian place close to my flat! I popped in for a lángos with garlic sauce, sour cream and cheese and it was one of the bests I have ever had! It was so delicious! I also got some strudel and chimney cake for take away!
Very friendly small place to taste real, home style hungarian foods. We had goulash soup, langos and aranygaluska - all of them were tasty! Don't miss this place out, if your tummy needs something very satisfying.
Very Small but very cosy restaurant, good selection of Hungarian drinks and food, very quick and friendly service. Chicken stew with the little pasta is really good, langos very yummy. The only thing ruined the experience was the smell of food on your clothes. We will come back.
